Prayer Requests 3-3-20

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 29

A psalm of David.

Ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings,
    ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
    worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.

The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
    the God of glory thunders,
    the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.
The voice of the Lord is powerful;
    the voice of the Lord is majestic.
The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
    the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
He makes Lebanon leap like a calf,
    Sirion like a young wild ox.
The voice of the Lord strikes
    with flashes of lightning.
The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
    the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
The voice of the Lord twists the oaks
    and strips the forests bare.
   And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”

10 The Lord sits enthroned over the flood;
    the Lord is enthroned as King forever.
11 The Lord gives strength to his people;
    the Lord blesses his people with peace.

  1. Prayer for this country, especially the believers. That they would be lights to their neighbors, pointing one and all to the Truth and the Hope that is in Him. Keeping from fear and panic in various scenarios.

  2. My brother-in-law had his sons come home just in case it is the end for him. His heart seems okay, but the rare bacterial pneumonia has left him very weak.

  3. Praying for your brother in law Kathaleena….oh that there will be sweet moments with his sons.
    Daughter’s temp job ended last Friday and now she is once again interviewing. Four interviews this week and one scheduled for next so far. The ad agency for whom she was working is cutting back and adding her responsibilities with a current employee’s job. They gave daughter a huge bouquet of flowers and told her if the company recovers they will call her first…she is sad to no longer be there. It was good experience for her but she needs a job!

  4. My BIL has been sent home. His oldest son will be there until Sunday. Pray he is sufficiently recovered by then to be able to do what needs to be done.
