Prayer Requests 1-28-20

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 148

Praise the Lord.

   Praise the Lord from the heavens;
    praise him in the heights above.
Praise him, all his angels;
    praise him, all his heavenly hosts.
Praise him, sun and moon;
    praise him, all you shining stars.
Praise him, you highest heavens
    and you waters above the skies.

Let them praise the name of the Lord,
    for at his command they were created,
and he established them for ever and ever—
    he issued a decree that will never pass away.

Praise the Lord from the earth,
    you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,
lightning and hail, snow and clouds,
    stormy winds that do his bidding,
you mountains and all hills,
    fruit trees and all cedars,
10 wild animals and all cattle,
    small creatures and flying birds,
11 kings of the earth and all nations,
    you princes and all rulers on earth,
12 young men and women,
    old men and children.

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
    for his name alone is exalted;
    his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
14 And he has raised up for his people a horn,
    the praise of all his faithful servants,
    of Israel, the people close to his heart.

   Praise the Lord.

  1. She’s off to the interview.

    My prayer is that the end of the day, she will be satisfied with how it went.

    Most importantly, that she’ll accept God’s will however this goes.

    Her options and future are good whether she gets into medical school or not.

    I, personally, am praying UC Davis steps up and takes her— much closer to home.

    But, even more most importantly, that she recognizes and steps into God’s will wherever it takes her. You all know this prayer! Lol

  2. Amen, Michelle. I have prayed that prayer many times for children and now grandchildren.

    Thank you for the prayer for our doctor visit. It was not about prostate surgery. The doctor (who was, oh, so young!) agreed with my husband that no further action is required now. It was a relief for both of us. I have been blindsided in the past and was concerned. I am thanking God.

    Kare, prayers, too for your dad and your situation. My dad also had congestive heart failure for a few years. It, along with his other health issues, did not slow him down much. He did have to watch out for various things. It is difficult to watch anyone with health problems and especially our parents, children and grandchildren.

  3. Prayer for husband today as he is having a significant flare up of pain. No bike this morning as we were not confident he could hold baby without dropping her. The bike is the least of my worries. Not that I actually have any.

  4. I can’t and won’t go into details but there is a situation that could turn into something major (it doesn’t involve my job or BG) that needs prayer. Someone refuses to understand and is angry.
