Anyone have something to share?
1 How lovely is your dwelling place,
Lord Almighty!
2 My soul yearns, even faints,
for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and my flesh cry out
for the living God.
3 Even the sparrow has found a home,
and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may have her young—
a place near your altar,
Lord Almighty, my King and my God.
4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
they are ever praising you.
5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.
6 As they pass through the Valley of Baka,
they make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
7 They go from strength to strength,
till each appears before God in Zion.
8 Hear my prayer, Lord God Almighty;
listen to me, God of Jacob.
9 Look on our shield, O God;
look with favor on your anointed one.
10 Better is one day in your courts
than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
the Lord bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold
from those whose walk is blameless.
12 Lord Almighty,
blessed is the one who trusts in you.
Prayer for us here. I am still under the weather and we are expecting our daughter and family to get in from Okinawa today. Don’t want to make them sick as they embark on their one month adventure.

Father God,
Please give a boost in healing to Mumsee so she can quickly get over her ailment. I ask for You to keep the illness from spreading to others. Please give them all a blessed family time with joy, laughter, and love experienced by each one. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

Instead of getting extra sleep last night from turning the clocks back, I ended up not getting enough sleep. Something weird happened. I somehow pulled a muscle in the area of my ribs in the back, but toward my left side (at least that’s what I think happened), and the pain grew quickly, out of the blue, and became very sharp, sometimes going up to my shoulder blade. Sharp enough that I was moaning and crying out in pain, and I’m not one to be dramatic about pains. Inhaling increased the pain, so for a while, I thought it might be a bad gas bubble. Unfortunately, I could not give up breathing to control the pain.
Then I started shivering uncontrollably, and that lasted for quite a while. I kept trying to calm myself, but my body would not cooperate. Eventually I did fall asleep for a couple hours, and when I awoke in the middle of the night, the pain had lessened but was (is) still there. I also feel achy in general, all over.
Still not sure if this really is merely a strained muscle or something else. At least it is not as bad as last night, and seems to be slowly waning.

You should mention it to Nightingale. It may be something else.

Thanks, Kim. I did mention it to her. Since the pain is subsiding, she is not too concerned, but of course, we will be careful to watch for a recurrence or anything else weird that pops up. The shivering could have been unconnected to the pain. (I thought that meant that I was going to get a fever, but I didn’t.)

Now I just hope that I can fall asleep quickly tonight, since I have to be up early to get Boy out to the bus stop in the morning. (That has been going well, btw.)
