Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 15
1 Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent?
Who may live on your holy mountain?
2 The one whose walk is blameless,
who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from their heart;
3 whose tongue utters no slander,
who does no wrong to a neighbor,
and casts no slur on others;
4 who despises a vile person
but honors those who fear the Lord;
who keeps an oath even when it hurts,
and does not change their mind;
5 who lends money to the poor without interest;
who does not accept a bribe against the innocent.
Whoever does these things
will never be shaken.
Updating my request from last night: Nightingale was able to get an emergency appointment with the dentist for 3:10 today. That may clash with the court appointment, which she needs to be at at 1:30, but she said that the court doings usually go quickly so she should be able to get out on time. If not, she thinks her attorney can handle the rest. Or something like that. She said she’ll talk to her attorney about it when she gets there.
Please pray that there is not another continuance, as these court dates are always on Mondays, so she would have to take another Monday off.
A piece of good news, though, is that she made a couple calls and found out that the paperwork did go through on time, so she does have dental and eye care insurance now. 🙂 They don’t send out a card, but she has the policy number.

I am so glad and relieved that she could get an appointment for today. Her face is visibly swollen on the side of the achy tooth.

And having had severe dental pains myself over the years, I know how it feels, and I hated that my daughter was going through that.

Continuing to pray for the Lord’s protection over Nightingale and that she would see that it is indeed His Hand doing the protecting Kizzie….
Tooth pain is just the worst…I have endured differing tooth difficulties over the years and it came to the point of never again wanting to see a dentist. Until I found my wonderful dentist who was compassionate and excellent in his field…then he retired…ugh!

Oh, I’m so glad about the dental insurance, I couldn’t believe that when I read your post last night. Dental work is so horribly expensive. Praying it’s not a root canal but just an infection of some kind that can be treated without too much trauma and expense.

I am at work. Several weeks ago I said I would do staff lunch today. Now it is falling apart and I am still being given the cold shoulder. I don’t want to be here

So, sounds like the Navy may be expecting daughter to deliver in the States as they are not set up for early deliveries and twins can be. And people are not supposed to fly late in pregnancy. So she is considering renting a place stateside for a few months. We have offered her room here but we are not particularly close to the hospital. Wisdom for daughter and son in law.

Oh Kim I am so sorry. I truly could see myself standing in the middle of the office yelling “what the *#!* is going on here!?” Perhaps that wouldn’t be lady like but it might wake some others up! 😳

Kim – Is the cold shoulder from everyone or only the receptionist? I just cannot fathom why anyone would be that way to you.

It is mainly from her but is spilling over.

Nightingale had half a root canal, with the other half to be done on Friday. I had never heard of only doing half at a time, but since it was an emergency appointment, they didn’t have enough time for the rest. She is also on antibiotics for the infection. Poor girl is in some pain.
Due to the novacaine, she cannot smile on that side of her face. I feel bad for kinda being amused by that, especially since it is the same side that I can’t smile on.

Kizzie that seems to be the norm any more for root canals. Paul had one years ago and they did it in two phases…and recently a friend had hers in 2 phases. Especially if there seems to be infection…they like the antibiotics to take hold before going deeper. Praying her pain subsides soon!

They used to do one root at a time, so molars got 2-3 appts plus the final crown visits. 😦
Glad she was able to get in and get it taken care of.
Kim, that stinks.
Nancyjill, we’ve never heard (or ourselves uttered) such talk. Shocking.

Sorry…I have been known to shock at times…that word isn’t such a terrible word that I had in mind but I should refrain from thinking such I suppose. I have been known to have a temper although not so much as the Lord has calmed me over the years of knowing Him. When I see injustice and hurting of someone I love my blood does start to boil somewhat….

As for at the court, the main case (such as the question of sole custody) still hasn’t come before a judge, but today they made a new custody schedule for the school year. Starting the last weekend of August, X will have him for a full weekend every other weekend (the ones Nightingale works), and pick him up after school on Mondays for three and a half hours (also on alternating Thursdays in the weeks when he doesn’t have him for the coming weekend).

I don’t know why I just told you all of those details. 😀

So many things to pray for. We need 48 hours in our days to keep everyone covered in prayer.
Wesley is suppose to be home a little later this week. Prayers for safe travels, please.

Prayers for Chas, too, for the antibiotic to quickly rid his body of any infection.
