Anyone have something to share?
1 Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory
in the heavens.
2 Through the praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
3 When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?
5 You have made them a little lower than the angels
and crowned them with glory and honor.
6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their feet:
7 all flocks and herds,
and the animals of the wild,
8 the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
9 Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
Prayer for seventeen, that she would get her feet grounded and start moving forward again. Wisdom to help her.

Our church is struggling. Please pray that whatever we say would be a blessing and not a curse. Pray for wisdom for the leaders. It is distressing and difficult for many. I have no idea what is going to happen.

Praise: Carol finally called the MO Synod Lutheran Church that’s near her current facility — we’d driven by it shortly after she moved and it’s very close, a couple miles away, but she never would follow through in calling them. Well, she finally did this week and the pastor returned her call and set her up with a church member to pick her up on Sunday. It’s a small (tiny) congregation, only about a dozen people on Sundays, but they observe communion weekly. And they did a lot more than 1st Pres ever did in offering her a ride (although I’m not sure she ever requested a ride from 1st Pres but she would have from this church as her mobility is so much less now than it was even a year ago — still, I always felt the church should have “offered,” they had hundreds of members and she lived only 3-4 blocks away, but it was a difficult walk for her).
Unfortunately, she was told today by staff that she needed to get the visiting doctor’s approval for those outings now & he won’t be in until Tuesday so she has emailed her ride to tell him not to come tomorrow, but she’s hopeful they can start up by next Sunday. She was upset, accused the staff with interfering with her 1st Amendment rights (that’s Carol, who’s usually mild mannered but can have flashes of a sharp temper), but she’s now calmed down somewhat. It would have been good for the staff to advise her that this was a new policy for her, however (to get permission from the doctor for outings); and it’s unclear whether he needs to give individual approvals for each week or if he could approve the outing for every week for her. We’ll see. I’m just glad she finally connected with the church and I’m very hopeful she can follow through and begin attending — though some of this will depend on the kind of car this nab drives too, I’m hoping it’s something she can get into and out of OK.

Why did I call that man a nab?
Is it a sin to laugh on the prayer thread? 😉
I’m guessing you meant to say “man,” but maybe had your right hand fingers one key to the left of the usual spot. One to the left of “m” is “n” and one to the left of “n” is “b.” Thus, n-a-b instead of m-a-n.

In all seriousness, though, prayers and praises for all above.

Please pray for my neighbor Denise. Her brother died, and she is the one who found his body. (He’d had a heart condition, I think.)
(She does not know the Lord. She follows Wicca or a Wicca-type belief.)
