Prayer Requests 5-31-19

It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.

Anyone else?

Psalm 117

Praise the Lord, all you nations;
    extol him, all you peoples.
For great is his love toward us,
    and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.

   Praise the Lord.

  1. Wisdom as we continue to try to help twenty two sort out fact from fiction. Today we will require her to write out a job resume. She will be forced to either write out all the jobs and education and training she claims or leave them off. We still need to find out if she actually had radiation treatment and chemo or not. To God be the glory.

  2. For the past couple weeks, The Boy has had some times of being emotional about missing his mommy, which is very unusual for him for the past couple or so years. We are wondering if something is going on somewhere, or if it is “just a phase”.

    Please pray for my dear boy, and that if there is anything we need to know, he will tell us. Thank you.

  3. She sent me a resume she had completed. It did not contain any of the jobs she claimed to have in Moscow, or any of the certifications or any of the volunteer positions. Interesting.

  4. A prayer request from Joanne (AjiSuun), posted on Facebook:

    “We are having a crazy week of problems. It would be a lot for a month and it has all happened in 5 days. We need prayer for spiritual protection, endurance and gracious spirits.”

    She also shared this, which has this preface (I’m not sure who wrote the preface):

    “Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Power) is the spiritual peak of Ramadan. It marks the night when Allah is believed to have sent the Quran down from the seventh heaven.

    And it is on THIS NIGHT that Jesus often reveals Himself in dreams and visions! With great spiritual fervor comes unique spiritual opportunity.

    May Muslims encounter the true Word of God on THIS pivotal night: Jesus Christ!”

  5. The 30 days of prayer focus is that Muslims would find Jesus as they seek and pray more earnestly on Laylat al-Qadr (Night of Power. It is also called the Night of Destiny as some believe that God decides the fate of each believer then. Pray the promise of Matthew 7:7-8 would be fulfilled for those who earnestly seek the truth: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”
