  1. First up, the anti-bullying fraud.

“Gay Democrat Mocks, Harasses Christians For Praying Quietly On Sidewalk

LGBT advocacy today comes from a place of rage and hatred. It is a movement of obnoxious lecturing, intimidation, bullying, and bitter rage that does little more than validate prejudices.”

“Pennsylvania state Rep. Brian Sims is best known for responding to a visit from Vice President Mike Pence to his city by raising his middle finger and saying, “To be clear, we’re a City of soaring diversity…So keep that in mind while you’re here raising money to attack more families, spread more lies, blaspheme with your bible, and maybe even talk to a woman without your wife in the room.” He ended his post declaring, “So…get bent, then get out!”

LGBT media cheered on the display of “resistance” during gay pride month. Then, just a few days ago, Sims filmed himself berating an elderly woman who stood in front of Philadelphia’s Planned Parenthood quietly praying. In a tweet posting his video he said, “Push back against Planned Parenthood protestors, PLEASE! They prey on young women, they use white privilege, & shame. They’re racist, classist, bigots who NEED & DESERVE our righteous opposition. Push back, please! #YouAreStrongEnough.”

  2. Next up…..

“Scott Walker: Republicans need to wake up to Democrats’ nationwide judicial power grab”

“Former President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder won’t tell the truth when it comes to their redistricting strategy, but here it is: Pick a state, any state, and sue until it’s blue. They have spent years and millions of dollars selling the false narrative that Democrats draw “fair maps” while any and all Republican-drawn maps are “partisan gerrymanders.” While rhetorically cute, their primary goal has nothing to do with fighting gerrymandering as they repeatedly claim, but to put redistricting in the hands of unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats and lifetime-appointed judges.

Their strategy makes sense. There are plenty of unelected federal judges presiding over these redistricting cases who will enthusiastically toss out constitutionally drawn maps to help elect more Democrats. That’s exactly what happened recently in both Michigan and Ohio, despite the entirely dubious and suspect arguments from the left. It will also not be a surprise if liberal federal panels do the same thing in other states in the coming weeks.

In recent years, we’ve seen this over and over again and it’s time that Republicans wake up to the reality of the Democrats’ nationwide judicial power grab.”

    And ye shall receive.

“The Trump administration is searching for an appropriate case in which to ask the Supreme Court to end nationwide injunctions, Vice President Mike Pence announced Wednesday in Washington at a Federalist Society conference.

Nationwide injunctions, in which federal trial judges bar the federal government from enforcing a law or carrying out a policy across the entire country, have beset President Donald Trump since he took office. District courts have blocked administration policy priorities on immigration, national security and health care.

“The Supreme Court of the United States must clarify that district judges can decide no more than the cases before them — and it’s imperative that we restore the historic tradition that district judges do not set policy for the whole nation,” Pence told the conservative lawyers group.

“In the days ahead, our administration will seek opportunities to put this question before the Supreme Court — to ensure that decisions affecting every American are made either by those elected to represent the American people or by the highest court in the land,” Pence added.

Attorney General William Barr is involved in the effort, a source with knowledge of the process told The Daily Caller News Foundation. The solicitor general, who represents the U.S. government before the justices, answers to Barr.”

  3. And on a related note, Trump keeps expanding his legacy.

“Terrific Trump: Trump About to Flip Another Appeals Court To Conservatives”

“President Trump, who already has had a mammoth impact on America’s judicial system by appointing over 100 judges and flipping the Pennsylvania-based Third Circuit Court of Appeals to majority Republican appointees, is posed to flip another Circuit Court of Appeals: The Second Circuit. There are 13 Circuit Courts of Appeals in the U.S.

As Bloomberg Law reports, on Wednesday the Senate confirmed Joseph Bianco to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Another judge, Michael Park, is expected to be confirmed later this week. Bloomberg noted, “When Trump makes additional appointments for vacancies that will be left by two judges who recently announced their retirements, Dennis Jacobs and Christopher Droney, the 13-member court will be majority Republican-appointed.””

  4. Hypocrites and liars, once again slandering an innocent man. It’s what Democrats do.

“The Democrat-controlled House Judiciary Committee voted along party lines, 24 to 16, on Wednesday to recommend holding Attorney General Bill Barr in contempt of Congress for his refusal to comply with a subpoena for Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s unredacted report and underlying investigative files.”

“In 2012, Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, became the first sitting member of a president’s cabinet in U.S. history to be held in contempt of Congress after he refused to turn over documents related to the Obama administration’s “Operation Fast and Furious,” which gave military-style weapons to Mexican drug cartels which were then used to kill U.S. federal agents.

In response to Holder being held in contempt, Nadler tweeted the following in 2012: “Just joined the #walkout of the House chamber to protest the shameful, politically-motivated GOP vote holding AG Holder in contempt.”

  5. As Rep. Meadows said above, they’re only trying to dirty up Barr because they know what he finds is bad for them. They want to slander him so when he spills the beans on their dirty deeds, their sheep base will buy it.

This is what they fear, and more is coming.

“If ever there were an admission that taints the FBI’s secret warrant to surveil Donald Trump’s campaign, it sat buried for more than 2 1/2 years in the files of a high-ranking State Department official.

Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec’s written account of her Oct. 11, 2016, meeting with FBI informant Christopher Steele shows the Hillary Clinton campaign-funded British intelligence operative admitted that his research was political and facing an Election Day deadline.

And that confession occurred 10 days before the FBI used Steele’s now-discredited dossier to justify securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to surveil former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page and the campaign’s ties to Russia.

Steele’s client “is keen to see this information come to light prior to November 8,” the date of the 2016 election, Kavalec wrote in a typed summary of her meeting with Steele and Tatyana Duran, a colleague from Steele’s Orbis Security firm. The memos were unearthed a few days ago through open-records litigation by the conservative group Citizens United.

Kavalec’s notes do not appear to have been provided to the House Intelligence Committee during its Russia probe, according to former Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.). “They tried to hide a lot of documents from us during our investigation, and it usually turns out there’s a reason for it,” Nunes told me. Senate and House Judiciary investigators told me they did not know about them, even though they investigated Steele’s behavior in 2017-18.

One member of Congress transmitted the memos this week to the Department of Justice’s inspector general, fearing its investigation of FISA abuses may not have had access to them.

Nonetheless, the FBI is doing its best to keep much of Kavalec’s information secret by retroactively claiming it is classified, even though it was originally marked unclassified in 2016.

The apparent effort to hide Kavalec’s notes from her contact with Steele has persisted for some time.”

They know what they’re hiding, and the lies they’ve told. Their greatest fear is that voters may soon know the truth as well.

  6. Some good news on the border crisis. Tools to help end it.

    1/2 mile a day. 🙂

And the 9th Circus gets one right.

“The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Tuesday that President Donald Trump has the authority to send asylum seekers to Mexico as they wait for the United States to adjudicate their claims, handing the president a big win on immigration policy.

The “Remain in Mexico” policy seeks to curb catch-and-release by denying fraudulent asylum seekers the incentive of being released into the interior of the U.S. while their cases proceed in immigration courts.

The circuit court overruled an earlier decision by San Francisco Judge Richard Seeborg, who blocked Trump’s policy on the grounds that the administration was making the asylum process too difficult and could be putting migrants at further risk by demanding they stay in Mexico. ”

A judge who, as mentioned above, placed a nationwide injunction for which he had no authority anyway. His jurisdiction isn’t the whole US.

  7. Do the Democrats even care that Ilhan Omar is openly pushing Hamas propaganda?

    Of course not.

  8. —————-

  9. And as always, the Hollywood left is there to make excuses for Omar.

  10. Nice. 🙂

“Democrat Lawmaker Who Harassed Young Girls Has Unintentionally Helped Raise A Lot Of Money For Pro-Life Cause”

“The “activism” of a radical-left Democratic lawmaker in Pennsylvania has ended up helping out the cause he was attempting to undermine. The mother and father of the young teen girls — who are just 13 and 15-years-old — that State Rep. Brian Sims harassed for several minutes as they prayed for unborn children outside an abortion clinic, have turned his actions against him, starting a GoFundMe account designed to “Show Brian the Power of the Pro-Life Movement.”

Over just a couple of days, Sims has unintentionally raised over $70,000 dollars to help protect unborn children.

“State Rep. Brian Sims tried to Harass and Dox my Daughters. He Offered $100. Let’s Donate $100,000 to the Pro-Life Movement Instead,” reads the GoFundMe account set up by the young girls’ parents, Joe and Ashley Garecht, on Monday.

The Garechts set a goal of $100,000. As of Wednesday evening, just two days after they set it up, they’ve raised a total of $71,276, with over 1,300 people having donated so far.”

  11. And as a bonus, Matt Walsh is having a protest at the PP.

  12. Haha, love the Sims “against bullying” poster 🙂

He also said this in that same 7:24 Federalist link:

In an interview in April, Sims ironically said, “In my six years in government as a civil rights attorney, LGBTQ advocate, and activist, I learned one thing that I think makes for good government: it’s empathy. It sounds kind and sweet to hear a cis white man say that, but what I mean is the more the substance of empathy. Empathy is about putting yourself in somebody else’s shoes. And being a good legislator is about having the ability to do that.” …

Talk about someone being roasted by his own words and campaign posters. …

  13. Something tells me there’s way more to this story.

“More than 1,000 weapons seized in ritzy Los Angeles neighborhood”

“The man, who was later identified by the Los Angeles Police Department as Girard Damien Saenz, 57, was being held on suspicion of unlawful transportation and giving, lending or selling an assault weapon, Lt. Chris Ramirez, a police spokesman, said. Saenz is expected to be booked Thursday morning, he said.

Police and agents of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives discovered the rifles and pistols while serving a search warrant at the residence in the Holmby Hills area of west Los Angeles.

The weapons were taken from the home near the famous intersection of Beverly and Sunset boulevards in a joint ATF-police investigation. Real estate listings offered homes for sale at an average price of more than $17 million this week in the neighborhood, which is part of Los Angeles’ Platinum Triangle.”

  14. I hope the people at Matt Walsh’s rally will be careful. There are some (please note I said some) pro-life protesters who yell horrible things at the women going in to those clinics. That will not win anyone to Christ nor convince them that abortion is wrong. The women going in to those places are often young and scared, and don’t think they have any other alternative.

  15. ” There are some (please note I said some) pro-life protesters who yell horrible things at the women going in to those clinics. ”

Now have you actually seen and heard this? Or are you just repeating what the pro-abortion side alleges? (usually with zero proof)

  16. I only ask because a Google and a YouTube search both return nothing that shows what they often allege. One would think if it’s happening as often as alleged, there’d be proof.

    But…… No.

  17. It may not be common, but it does happen. I have heard it from someone who witnessed it on more than one occasion. (She would sometimes escort women into the clinics.) I’ve also read pro-lifers who mention having seen this happen.

Not everything that happens in life ends up in the news.

Either way, a large crowd is going to be intimidating, so they should be careful to be on their best behavior. And yes, even then, some will take something out of context, or exaggerate, and claim some kind of impolite behavior.

  18. But that probably would (end up in the news).

I have no data, but my sense is that those kinds of confrontations happened very early on in the abortion clinic protest movement, as in the 70s/80s. ?

We have a group at church that has just organized to quietly pray outside our local PP clinic and they’re among the nicest women in the congregation. Demonstrators also must remain a certain distance away from the clinics so direct contact with clients is extremely unlikely (unless initiated maybe by the client).

Not saying bad behavior on the part of the pro-lifers outside clinics never happens — and it should always be stopped or not allowed by organizers of these demonstrations — but I certainly haven’t heard of it in a long time.

  19. It also needs to be noted that not everyone (maybe very few) of those using a PP clinic are there for an abortion; while that has become their bread-and-butter service, they do also offer regular exams and birth control at a low cost.

  20. I’ll have to check, but I believe the info that went out about our particular church’s group indicated there was to be no contact initiated with any of those coming or going at the facility.

  21. DJ – It is possible I am merely remembering things from the past. And yet, there is that person who claims to have seen it personally. (Although it could have been only one person saying something, and was exaggerated into something else.)

But people are people, pro-life or not (and not all pro-lifers are Christian), and some people (even some Christians) can be jerks.

  22. Someone on Facebook posted a blog post in which the author claims that we pro-lifers don’t really care about babies, we just want to “punish sluts”.

  23. Yes, there will always be a jerk. 🙂 But there’s just not much we can really do to prevent that anywhere that has more than say 10 people of any persuasion gathered.

Some would argue that’s why any mass demonstrations or gatherings are, by their nature, Christian or not, fraught with danger as we all are a fallen people in a fallen world.

  24. And since there has been violence outside the clinics (the rare but still jarring dr. shootings, I believe there are ‘zones’ set up that will not allow demonstrators that close to clinic entrances.

Not being of a demonstration mindset, I’d just feel uncomfortable in any of those settings, to be honest.

  25. And I tend to agree with my friend and Christian mentor from long ago who said she absolutely cringes when Christians start organizing “mass” gatherings after the pattern of the social-justice movement..

What could go wrong? All kinds of things. … 😦
