Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 116
1 I love the Lord, for he heard my voice;
he heard my cry for mercy.
2 Because he turned his ear to me,
I will call on him as long as I live.
3 The cords of death entangled me,
the anguish of the grave came over me;
I was overcome by distress and sorrow.
4 Then I called on the name of the Lord:
“Lord, save me!”
5 The Lord is gracious and righteous;
our God is full of compassion.
6 The Lord protects the unwary;
when I was brought low, he saved me.
7 Return to your rest, my soul,
for the Lord has been good to you.
8 For you, Lord, have delivered me from death,
my eyes from tears,
my feet from stumbling,
9 that I may walk before the Lord
in the land of the living.
10 I trusted in the Lord when I said,
“I am greatly afflicted”;
11 in my alarm I said,
“Everyone is a liar.”
12 What shall I return to the Lord
for all his goodness to me?
13 I will lift up the cup of salvation
and call on the name of the Lord.
14 I will fulfill my vows to the Lord
in the presence of all his people.
15 Precious in the sight of the Lord
is the death of his faithful servants.
16 Truly I am your servant, Lord;
I serve you just as my mother did;
you have freed me from my chains.
17 I will sacrifice a thank offering to you
and call on the name of the Lord.
18 I will fulfill my vows to the Lord
in the presence of all his people,
19 in the courts of the house of the Lord—
in your midst, Jerusalem.
Praise the Lord.
Please pray that things will work out regarding my need for glasses and passing the vision test for getting my driver’s license renewal. Thank you.

Amen.
Husband is on the road again, in celebration of his sixty fourth birthday and I am grateful that he is still able to do so. Prayer for wisdom for him and the ability to do what needs to be done. He is getting weaker.

Praying Mumsee.
Sixty four is about the time a man can no longer do the things the always did.
“Not the man I used to be” is not a facetious statement, thought it is used in a jocular sense.
Not funny at all.
It’s good for his wife to understand that he just did a little more than he can.
Losing it is hard.

Please say a quick prayer for BG and me. I received a text and she wants to come over. While this should instill a sense of joy, for some reason it made my stomach run hide beneath my toenails.

Praise God that I got a doctor’s appointment with the eye doc that Karen and Art see for their vision appointments! Thank you for praying. This is an office where Karen had her cataract surgery and they do a lot of surgeries and wi steer me correctly on retina surgery. I got my new insurance card yesterday. Thanking God I am all set up on Medicare Advantage now.

My least favorite time to childsit is when Nightingale is working second shift. This month, all she could get are second shifts, four each week through the month of December (along with her every-other Sundays, first shift). Please pray for me to keep a positive attitude and not get too tired or stressed out. Please also pray for The Boy to not “act out” in any way, as he will probably be missing his mommy, since there will be weeks when, for three or four days, he will only see her for about an hour in the morning.
And please pray that she will be able to pick up mostly first shifts in January. Thank you.

It wasn’t as bad as it could have been. I did not lose my temper. She will probably have to go back to court and we have discussed her entering an in-patient treatment facility.

During our conversation I showed her my above request and she started crying.
