Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 47
1 Clap your hands, all you nations;
shout to God with cries of joy.
2 For the Lord Most High is awesome,
the great King over all the earth.
3 He subdued nations under us,
peoples under our feet.
4 He chose our inheritance for us,
the pride of Jacob, whom he loved.
5 God has ascended amid shouts of joy,
the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises;
sing praises to our King, sing praises.
7 For God is the King of all the earth;
sing to him a psalm of praise.
8 God reigns over the nations;
God is seated on his holy throne.
9 The nobles of the nations assemble
as the people of the God of Abraham,
for the kings of the earth belong to God;
he is greatly exalted.
My brother, Gene, will be having surgery to remove his bladder, apparently. He has cancer. I am not sure when this will happen. There is a real rift in the family right now. He never has called me, but he is now not talking to our sister and a sister-in-law. All this is so sad. He needs the Lord the most, but I am praying for his healing in every way.

Chas, our pastor regularly tears up in talking about the Lord. I have had times I could hardly get through a service without tears. I was someone who simply could not cry. After studying God’s word for over 40 years, I can and do cry at a drop of a hat. I have come to realize a softened heart is a good thing.

Chas, my dad is your same age and regularly chokes up when speaking of the Lord and His blessings. You’re in good company.

Please continue praying for my sister, C. Day two of the flu, and the report this morning is that she feels terrible and not up to traveling by any means.

Prayers.
My dad also tears up. Both about the graciousness of our Lord and when talking about his family 🙂 He says he is planted close to the waters.

Hubby only made it to 62, but he, too, would sometimes tear up when talking about the goodness of God, or about his love for his family.

Please pray for Nightingale to find a full-time first shift LPN job within the next few months. Although she will start keeping an eye out soon, she doesn’t plan to actively look until after the first of the year. (She is also open to a third shift position, but then she would get even less sleep than she already does. I really don’t want her to have to do that.)
There were many matters we discussed this morning. One was her looking for a full-time first shift job, and another was her plans for finally getting back to studying for her RN degree. She would be going part-time while working full-time. She plans to start in the spring session of 2020.
In the meantime, there are a lot of things that have to be done around here, downsizing in particular. Eventually, she and The Boy will be living down here with me and we will renovate and then rent out the upstairs.
We also discussed money matters.
I guess you could pray for me in all of this, too, as it will have a direct effect on my life as well as hers and The Boy’s.

Would you all kindly pray that my headache and lethargy will go away? I still have so much that needs to be accomplished today and tomorrow, and I have literally done nothing today — no school, no housework, no laundry or packing, nothing — and it’s going on 3pm. Ugh.
