Chas won last week, so he picked his favorite South Carolina for the tie breaker. The Pillow Fight is a true bottom of the barrel game, as the two worst teams in NCAA Division 1, at least according to ESPN’s Bottom 10 poll, go at it. New Mexico State travels all the way to El Paso for a match up with UT-El Paso. All the way here means about 40 miles south on Interstate 10.
Anyway, have at it and let’s see who can get it right. So far our best score has been a disappointing 6 out of 10, and only one of us has predicted the winner in a tie breaker game.
Place your guesses by 12 NOON EDT Saturday.
Here are the games:
1. Nebraska @ #19 Michigan
2. Navy @ SMU
3. #22 Texas A&M @ #1 Alabama
4. #3 Clemson @ Georgia Tech
5. Kansas @ Baylor
6. Arizona @ Oregon State
7. #17 TCU @ Texas
8. #7 Stanford @ #20 Oregon
9. Pillow Fight: New Mexico State (0-4) @ UTEP (0-3)
10. Tie Breaker (guess winner and final score) South Carolina @ Vanderbilt
1. Nebraska
2. Navy
3. Alabama
4. Clemson
5. Baylor (I have on my Mama Bear shirt today!)
6. Arizona
7. TCU
8. Stanford
9. New Mexico State
10. Vanderbilt 10-7
How coincidental! I usually wear nicer tops to the office, but I saw the Mama Bear shirt and thought it was seasonal so I would wear it. Then I hear and got to pick Baylor.
When son was first there and worked in the writing center he had the choice to work in the center with the football players or the other center. He went with the mainline students instead of with the stars.)
These are supposed to be guesses? What? All week I have been carefully pondering, strategizing, studying, developing a plan. Only to come here and read that we are to be guessing?

Well, we all did better this week. And we almost happened again that Mrs L would have to draw the winner. There were two people who tied in the tie breaker, Mumsee and AJ. The score was South Carolina 37-14. But not to worry, one had more than the other. However, there was a tie at the top. 2 of us 57ers had 8 correct: Mumsee and I. She wins on the tie breaker, though. So congratulations, “young” lady. You win for the second time this year!
Well, looks like there is a Boise -Wyoming game with 188 tickets already sold as low as $53. But you probably don’t want to see Boise again. But wait, I won. Boise! Goooo Boise…!!!
