  1. “Can these morons read a calendar? Do they know when Rosenstein began to work as Deputy Attorney General? Do they even know when Trump took office?”

    Yes Ricky, they do.

Now do you understand that even though he wasn’t in charge then, he’s been the one slow rolling and hiding evidence about that time period, as well as when he’s been in charge?

He’s responsible for releasing info on issue prior to his appointment now that he’s in charge. And he isn’t doing so, hence the impeachment articles.

Hope that clears it up for you.

  2. Read the 4th paragraph of Article V. Please explain how Rosenstein was supervising the use of the Dossier in October 2016, several months before Trump added him to the Justice Dept.

This is why educated people can’t take Trumpers seriously.

  3. Ricky, I don’t know exactly how Rosenstein was supervising the use of the Dossier in October 2016, but apparently Rep. Jordan (OH) has reason to believe he was. Jordan was one of the questioners at the Storzk hearing who impressed me as being very sharp, unemotional and detail oriented. I expect he could connect the dots quite nicely if you ask him pretty please. Of course, as a founding member of the Freedom Caucus, Jordan has an independent streak and has never been fond of establishment positions such as yours. In fact, John Boehner recently said of him “”Jordan was a terrorist as a legislator going back to his days in the Ohio House and Senate … A terrorist. A legislative terrorist.” It is possible you guys shouldn’t be treating people who don’t agree with you like a joke.

  4. Prior to his appointment to DAG he was a United States Attorney for the District of Maryland. At the time of his confirmation as Deputy Attorney General in April 2017, he was the nation’s longest-serving U.S. Attorney.

I’ve not seen, and I’ve looked, any info that says which FBI office and which US Attorneys were involved in the FISA warrants, other than that Rosenstein did sign off on at least one of the renewals.

But it sounds to me like they’re saying Rosenstein was the one leading the dossier investigation in 2016 (article V) and onward, but I could be wrong. “Under Mr. Rosenstein’s supervision… was used in October 2016….” seems to imply such. Or infer. One of them.

And regardless, the buck stops at the top, which is Rosenstein. He’s at fault for not releasing the documents and the evidence, and ignoring subpoenas, whether he was in charge when they happened or not. He owns it now either way.

  5. AJ, Rosenstein signed off on one of the FISA renewals after he was appointed by Trump as Deputy AG. However, if any of you have evidence that Rosenstein has a time machine which he used to go back to October 2016 to “supervise the use of the Dossier in October, 2016”, please let me know. I would like to borrow it to go back and see Buddy Holly sing and Babe Ruth hit home runs.

  7. I would be curious to know what Rosensteins duties were in 2016 during the time in question. No time machine needed.

  8. And I don’t claim to be a Jordan ‘supporter’ as he sounds too libertarian for me. But he did seem significantly more credible than Comey or Strozk.

  9. I’ve got to say this. Gorsuch and Kavanaugh are very good. In addition, Trump’s District Court Judges and Appellate Justices have been very solid. Those folks are getting confirmed since the Rs have the Senate.

Heaven knows Trump has a lot of negatives which I have documented, but I give him credit for doing a great job with the judiciary and those good picks will bear fruit for decades.

Holding on to the Senate is also critical in order to keep the Ds from blocking judicial picks in 2019-2020. If we could just have 3 months of relatively good behavior from the White House, the Senate could be held.

  10. The Senate could be held, unless heroes like Bill Kristol and James Comey can persuade enough of us principles voters to…vote Democrat? What? OK, good plan. Let’s do it, baby killers!!! Who’s with me???

  11. I don’t know any young people or educated professionals who are considering voting for Democrats this year because of anything said by Kristol, Comey, Jennifer Rubin, Max Boot or Tom Nichols.

Unfortunately, I know a bunch of educated professionals and young people who are considering voting for Democrats because of the idiotic, stooge-like and obstructionist behavior of people like Nunes, Gohmert and Jordan. Today’s time travel allegation is only the most recent idiocy. Meanwhile, the Senate Intelligence Committee has been relatively well behaved.

To hold the Senate, Trump needs to behave for three months and he needs to tell Nunes & Co. to cool it. The odds of those two things happening are not high.

  12. Ricky,

“Here is Rosenstein’s biography. I believe that the US Attorney for the District of Maryland is automatically the Grand Wizard of the Deep State and the Royal Cyclops of the Soft Coup.”

That is correct, as I’d already noted 11:11AM

Prior to his appointment to DAG he was a United States Attorney for the District of Maryland. At the time of his confirmation as Deputy Attorney General in April 2017, he was the nation’s longest-serving U.S. Attorney.

Now, here’s the thing. When you look at the 412 pages on the FISA warrants released Saturday, you’ll see that in a few instances a US Attorney signs some of the accompanying docs to the judges issuing the warrant. Who those US Attorneys were and which office they were from, is redacted in every case. See page 392 for an example.

One, all, or none might be Rosenstein, but the FBI and DoJ is still hiding that for some reason. But it will come. This could go either way yet, so you might wanna hold off on the mocking for now.

Now I don’t expect anyone to simply take my word for it, or the opinion of some left handed person’s on Twitter.. See for yourself. What I’m saying is possible.

I scrolled all 412. Knock yourselves out. 🙂

  13. AJ, If Rosenstein had been the US Attorney who “signed some of the accompanying docs”, don’t you think Nunes or Gowdy or Gohmert or Jordan would have told us by now. Don’t you think even those goofy guys would have put that fact in the Articles of Impeachment. A number of those Republicans have seen the unredacted FISA applications as has Schiff. Nunes never bothered to read them, but Gowdy did and I believe the Republican committee staff also did.

By the way Gowdy did not endorse the Articles of Impeachment.

  15. Hmm. This makes sense, and I am not so sure it won’t work.

  16. @7:51 Doesn’t redacted indicate information that is still classified and therefore not to be made public? It is quite possible that Rosenstein signed some supporting docs is it not?
