Prayer Requests 7-21-18

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 135:1-5

Praise the Lord.

   Praise the name of the Lord;
    praise him, you servants of the Lord,
you who minister in the house of the Lord,
    in the courts of the house of our God.

Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good;
    sing praise to his name, for that is pleasant.
For the Lord has chosen Jacob to be his own,
    Israel to be his treasured possession.

I know that the Lord is great,
    that our Lord is greater than all gods.

  1. Karen, I appreciate your weariness at being responsible for The Boy around the clock this weekend. Some people say that the great thing about having grandchildren is that you can spoil them and then send them home. I say that at the end of a long day of enjoying them, we can go downstairs and relax, while their parents still have to do baths, books, drinks, prayers, answer endless questions, and long drawn out “good nights.” My heart and thoughts are with you (always).

  2. Kizzie, I understand on a better level now than I did before. Mr. P brought Maddie home yesterday and announced we were going to get to keep her for the 3rd Friday night in a row. I had just gotten off the phone from making afternoon plans with a friend. I understand his love for her and his desire to have her (although he did also go shopping yesterday to get some new clothes for her while I tried to work but couldn’t because she woke up as soon as he left), I also work outside the home.
    I had typed more but deleted it. This isn’t about me, it is about you, and I want you to know that I understand.

  3. I get it too, Kizzie. We have April’s 5 a lot. Connor is at my house this weekend. The girls are with their biannual visit to their dad. You love them and want to keep them, but sometimes, they just make you tired. You are loved, more than you know.

  4. Grandson still has not made his appearance. He is taking after his dad, though I hope not. His dad was a month and a half late. No, we did not miscalculate. Daughter in law got an epidural last night so she is at least more comfortable in some ways.
