Prayer Requests 7-14-18

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 128

Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
    who walk in obedience to him.
You will eat the fruit of your labor;
    blessings and prosperity will be yours.
Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
    within your house;
   your children will be like olive shoots
    around your table.
Yes, this will be the blessing
    for the man who fears the Lord.

May the Lord bless you from Zion;
    may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem
    all the days of your life.
May you live to see your children’s children—
    peace be on Israel.

  1. My husband’s brother is back in the hospital with his 5th heart attack. He was feeling great in between. Please pray for wisdom for all involved.

    My godson, Nick, is also back in the hospital with a bone infection. He is quite young and has multiple health issues. Worse, he has not surrendered to the Lord.

  2. N is back home after her trip to Europe. Thank you for your prayers for safe travels. Uneventful flight back to the States, and for the drive home. We’ve had some wild weather this past week, and N’s mom found a tree down on their property after they returned yesterday. No damage to any structures or people.

  3. Prayers for your BIL and godson, Kathaleena. I don’t understand how a person can have that many heart attacks, but it was like that with my dad’s dad, too. He survived six heart attacks and two strokes, and simply died of old age, I guess you could say, at 95.

  4. Not sure what I need prayer for, but am very emotionally volatile–up and down the last couple days.

    I think I’ve reclaimed enough peace (Though why Ezekiel would help is debatable), to wade into the next fray, but very odd.

  5. My BIL is home already after another stent or some such.

    Nick has an inoperable tumor to add to his diabetes. He was diagnosed with MS, but now I understand it was the tumor (wrapped around his spine/neck that caused him not to be able to walk. He is not or barely thirty and has had a very rough life. A friend believes he is saved and I hope that is the case. He certainly has had the opportunity in Christian camp, VBS and through friends. Whatever the case, it is also a spiritual battle he is fighting.

    Our friends, who have lost 3 children of their own, consider him a grandson. The story is too long and involved to share. Nevertheless, this is a great stress and pain for them. They are strong believers, however. Please pray for their wisdom and healing for their hearts, as well.
