It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.
Anyone else?
Psalm 118:1-4
1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever.
2 Let Israel say:
“His love endures forever.”
3 Let the house of Aaron say:
“His love endures forever.”
4 Let those who fear the Lord say:
“His love endures forever.”
I did the classic step, slip, legs go flying out on a rag rug yesterday and have severely twisted my knee five days before leaving at 4 am by myself.
I’m calling for a doctor appointment this morning to make sure I haven’t badly damaged my knee.I have a lot of travel and walking ahead of me–but maybe not walking, now.
I can barely walk right now.
Such a year.

Ouch. I will not comment that it sounds like you had the rug pulled out from under you. I will not.

Glad you didn’t say that, Mumsee.

Praying your knee will be okay, Michelle.

LOL. But that IS what happened. 🙂
Just in with non-marching orders. Nothing appears broken and I’ve been advised to keep it up and iced with ibuprofen until I leave, as much as possible.
He laughed, too, when I told him where I was going. “Heat and humidity will be good for your knee.”
What I needed more than anything was peace of mind and that’s what the doctor gave me.
Thanks for your prayers–which, of course, really made the difference. 🙂

Repeat after me: “Throw rugs are a safety hazard.” One of the things, if we are assessing a patient’s home for safety hazards, we will tell them to get rid of.

I tossed it outside. My husband returned it to its place this morning. I pushed at it, the rug didn’t budge.
Hand of God, obviously.
