It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.
Anyone else?
Psalm 112
1 Praise the Lord.
Blessed are those who fear the Lord,
who find great delight in his commands.
2 Their children will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches are in their houses,
and their righteousness endures forever.
4 Even in darkness light dawns for the upright,
for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.
5 Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,
who conduct their affairs with justice.
6 Surely the righteous will never be shaken;
they will be remembered forever.
7 They will have no fear of bad news;
their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
8 Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;
in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.
9 They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,
their righteousness endures forever;
their horn will be lifted high in honor.
10 The wicked will see and be vexed,
they will gnash their teeth and waste away;
the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.

This isn’t too too important, but. . .Please pray that Nightingale will find the Netflix DVD she was supposed to mail back a week or more ago, that she kept forgetting to mail and now cannot find. Thanks.

Found. By me. I did a more thorough search of the car than she did, and found it wedged down between the passenger seat and the middle-thingie between the seats. It was not visible until I purposely looked down there.
I am relieved. It is my Netflix account, and I didn’t want to have to pay for a DVD I didn’t even want. Funny thing is that I didn’t even watch the movie, just got it ready to send back. It was one that Hubby was interested in seeing, and I would have watched with him, but wasn’t interested enough to watch it on my own, but I’d forgotten to take it off my Netflix queue.

We are having so much fun with the real daughter rather than that other one who was so difficult. Days are relaxing and lots of laughter. Thanks for praying us through that rugged time and please feel free to continue as we know it may be only temporary. But we are enjoying the time.

Two prayer requests, both involving my high school piano student:
1. Today I will be drafting a letter to the president of our state independent music teacher’s organization regarding a business matter that affects some students, including the one of mine whom I referenced above. It’s not a serious matter, but I feel it needs attention and resolution. Please pray that my communication will be professional and dispassionate.
2. Please also pray for that student and her family. Her mom called the other day, needing to cancel this week’s lesson, and what ordinarily would have been a one-minute phone call turned into a nearly 20-minute call, with Mom pouring out her heart about some difficult things in the family, especially involving the daughter (my student). Mom really seemed to need a listening ear, so that is mostly what I did. I can’t say any more, but please do pray for this dear family.
Thank you.

oh, could someone send a chiropractor over? My ribs feel like they need some adjusting, just in the wrong place. I made it through yesterday fine, but this feels slightly worse. Wisdom

I saw the physical therapist at market. They are going on furlough so she is no longer working.

Jo, I found some things to do by googling how to fix a rib that is out. A couple of exercises that helped me through until I saw a chiro.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZIql_nySDQhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59YI1M31hcM
