Prayer Requests 5-25-18

It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.

Anyone else?

Psalm 106:1-5

Praise the Lord.

   Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
    his love endures forever.

Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord
    or fully declare his praise?
Blessed are those who act justly,
who always do what is right.

Remember me, Lord, when you show favor to your people,
come to my aid when you save them,
that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones,
that I may share in the joy of your nation
and join your inheritance in giving praise.

  1. Okay, I realize I am probably just being silly here – after all, it was just a dream – but. . .

I had a dream last night that The Boy died. It was awful. Please pray for his safety in general, and his health, and of course, that he will find Jesus soon. Thank you.

  2. I still remember the horrid dream I had of my youngest years ago. She now has her own children all older than she was when I had that nightmare. Prayers for all, Kizzie.

  3. When Chickadee was a baby, I had a few dreams of finding her drowned. They were quite realistic-looking in the way she looked floating face down. At first, I thought maybe they were a warning. But as they went on, I decided that I didn’t think God would torment me like that. So I asked Him that if those dreams were not a warning from Him, to please make them stop. I never had another one after that.

And wouldn’t you know it? Chickadee loved water. 🙂

  4. Hubby just called from work, screaming and cursing and nearly crying, he’s in so much pain and angry at circumstances that leave him at work when everyone else has left for the weekend, and having to do duties that increase his pain. This is the worst I’ve ever heard him. He never cries or even sounds like he’s on the verge of crying.

Please, please pray for him. Thank you.

  5. 6 – Do his boss and co-workers know about the pain he is in? I know some men don’t like to let on to others about their infirmities, but those he works with should know. And if they do know, and left him alone, then shame on them.

Crying out to God for him.

  6. Thank you for that link, Roscuro. I’ve bookmarked it, and will bring it to his attention when he gets home. Some of those symptoms match what he’s experienced, and he reported tonight that his hip feels like it’s on fire.

Kizzie, his boss and co-workers most certainly know about his pain. They care not one iota, so, yes, shame on them.

Thank you both for your prayers. Roscuro, you are in my prayers with your asthma, as well.
