Psalm 70
1 Hasten, O God, to save me;
come quickly, Lord, to help me.
2 May those who want to take my life
be put to shame and confusion;
may all who desire my ruin
be turned back in disgrace.
3 May those who say to me, “Aha! Aha!”
turn back because of their shame.
4 But may all who seek you
rejoice and be glad in you;
may those who long for your saving help always say,
“The Lord is great!”
5 But as for me, I am poor and needy;
come quickly to me, O God.
You are my help and my deliverer;
Lord, do not delay.

Husband’s still in a lot of pain with his hip, and can hardly walk. He keeps going to work, though.
This next part is minor, but could become a major problem if I don’t get control of my emotions. I slept poorly last night, and, like usual when that happens, I am near tears and feeling like I’m at the end of my rope with patience. Not good if I were to lose it around an angry, pain-filled husband. Especially when his pain has gone on for at least a month now.
And honestly? I am crying now because I can’t take a vacation. It’s ALWAYS someone else, and never me.
Pity pity pity party.
Pray however you want.

Amos didn’t go to the vet today. The doctor wasn’t in. He will go next week. He seems to be feeling my better.

Nightingale’s beau has hinted at marriage. Please pray for wisdom for both of them. If this man is God’s will for her, may things go forward in His timing. But if he is not God’s will for her, may something cause them to break up, the sooner the better.

Hubby worked a half day, then had a massage, which brought temporary relief to his hip.
I am tired and sick to my stomach right now, but not frustrated and stressed-out like when I posted above, which I am sufficiently embarrassed about now.
