  1. When can we expect Wasserman-Schultz to be drug in and grilled under oath?

Once again, someone is colluding with foreigners, but it ain’t Trump. And now a foreign govt is in possession of intel it gained thru criminal activity. Info they were willingly given access to from Democrats.

    http://dailycaller.com/2018/04/18/imran-awan-usb-drive-pakistan/

“The father of Imran Awan — an IT aide to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz who investigators concluded made “unauthorized access” to House servers — transferred a USB drive to a Pakistani senator and former head of a Pakistani intelligence agency, the father’s ex-business partner, Rashid Minhas, alleged.

Minhas told The Daily Caller News Foundation that Imran Awan’s father, Haji Ashraf Awan, was giving data to Pakistani official Rehman Malik, and that Imran bragged he had the power to “change the U.S. president.”

Asked for how he knew this, he said that on one occasion in 2008 when a “USB [was] given to Rehman Malik by Imran’s father, my brother Abdul Razzaq was with his father.”

“After Imran’s father deliver (sic) USB to Rehman Malik, four Pakistani [government intelligence] agents were with his father 24-hour on duty to protect him,” he said. Minhas did not say what was on the USB.

TheDCNF traveled to Pakistan for this story and interviewed numerous residents who interacted with Imran, and they confirmed that he does travel that country with a contingent of armed Pakistani government officials and routinely brags about mysterious political power.

The House Office of Inspector General charged in Sept. 30, 2016 that data was being funneled off the House network by the Awans as recently as September 2016 — shortly before the presidential election.

Nearly Imran’s entire immediate family was on the House payroll working as IT aides to one-fifth of House Democrats, and he began working for the House in 2004. The inspector general, Michael Ptasienski, testified this month that “system administrators hold the ‘keys to the kingdom’ meaning they can create accounts, grant access, view, download, update, or delete almost any electronic information within an office. Because of this high-level access, a rogue system administrator could inflict considerable damage.””

    https://saraacarter.com/breaking-lawmakers-make-criminal-referral-on-clinton-comey-lynch-to-doj-on-steele-dossier/

“Congressional lawmakers made a criminal referral Wednesday to the Department of Justice Attorney General Jeff Sessions against former senior-level Obama administration officials, including employees of the FBI connected with the unverified dossier alleging collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, as well as those involved in the warrants used to spy on a former Trump campaign volunteer, this reporter has learned. The lawmakers also made a criminal referral on former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and threats made by her DOJ against the FBI informant, who provided the bureau with information on the Russian nuclear industry and the approval in 2010 to sell roughly 20 percent of American uranium mining assets to Russia.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee member Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Florida, along with ten other colleagues sent the letter Wednesday to Sessions and FBI Director Christopher Wray criminally referring former FBI Director James Comey, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe for their involvement in the investigations into President Trump and alleged violations of federal law. FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok and his paramour FBI lawyer Lisa Page, whose anti-Trump text messages obtained by the DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, were also included in the referral.

“We write to refer the following individuals for investigation of potential violation(s) of federal statutes,” states the letter obtained by this reporter. “In doing so, we are especially mindful of the dissimilar degrees of zealousness that has marked the investigations into Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the presidential campaign of Donald Trump, respectively. Because we believe that those in positions of high authority should be treated the same as every other American, we want to be sure that the potential violations of law outlined below are vetted appropriately.”

The criminal referral also raises significant concerns regarding the Steele dossier, and the “presentation of false and/or unverified information to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in connection with the former Trump aide Carter Page warrant application to conduct surveillance through the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).” Page worked as a volunteer advisor for the Trump campaign and the information in the dossier was used in bulk by the FBI to obtain the warrants to spy on him.

“Accordingly, we refer to DOJ all DOJ and FBI personnel responsible for signing the Carter Page warrant application that contained unverified and/or false information for possible violation(s) of 18 USC 242 and 18 USC 1505 and 1515b,” the criminal referral states. It refers to a letter drafted by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes to Sessions this March.”

  4. That large middle class (much eroded these days) helps provide the stability and peace between the upper and lower, and so to the country as a whole. I still think it unwise for the upper and lower to be so extremely far apart (not just monetarily but also in religion and culture) to such a degree that they perceive no common stake in peace and prosperity. But this is largely a spiritual issue. I have been seeing first hand the difference it makes when, for example, the owners of the factory put God first in their lives. It shows in their business operation, and it shows quite dramatically on the production floor. And when owners and management don’t, (Amazon, for example) that shows as well. Who you serve shows.

  5. @8:02 I told you Democrats have lost their minds. I suspect that those in the power structure who don’t want to be mini-Republican globalists, want full blown Communism. It’s disturbing that there is no real countervailing ideology on the left.

  6. The Hogg children, like 66% of their peers, are historically ignorant, or clueless. Maybe both.

“Today, David Hogg revealed the name of his and sister Lauren’s forthcoming book about the “foundation of [their] movement.” But like so much else Hogg has been putting out there, he really didn’t think this through first:

“Aside from the vague promise of using the proceeds to “help heal the community,” how about that title? “Never Again”? Really, dude?”

    https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/apr/18/feds-expose-network-smuggled-immigrants-syria/

“The Treasury Department slapped sanctions Wednesday on a Syrian man and his criminal syndicate, blaming them for smuggling “hundreds” of illegal immigrants from Syria and Lebanon into Mexico and then helping them to jump the border into the U.S.

Nasif Barakat and his syndicate, which authorities labeled the Barakat Transnational Criminal Organization, charged about $20,000 to complete the smuggling. The money paid for bribes and for fake documents, including false European passports, to help illegal immigrants hide their identities. The fees also covered transportation from Syria through other Middle Eastern countries to South and Central America, the journey north through Mexico, and final help sneaking into the U.S.

Authorities said the sanctions will freeze the syndicate’s assets, which should undermine the smuggling operation.

The case has been pursued by the Treasury Department, Homeland Security and the Justice Department.

“The day I was sworn in as attorney general, President Trump sent me an Executive Order to dismantle transnational criminal organizations,” said Attorney General Jeff Sessions. “Many of these organizations use human smugglers to bring people across our borders with little regard to their safety or our national sovereignty.””

  8. This is funny. Thinks are going to get more and more awkward for Republicans in Congress as time goes by. It will be interesting to see how many survive the Mid-term election. Ryan and the other retirees were wise. They would have been wiser to resign 15 months ago.

“CNN has reported that the Department of Justice’s inspector general sent a criminal referral of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe to the US attorneys office in DC.

Last week, the IG office published its report on McCabe revealing that McCabe authorized a leak to The Wall Street Journal in an attempt to boost himself, but lied to investigators and former FBI Director James Comey.”

And she went by that name. I don’t think she ever married.

  11. SolarP, I think Kristol expects a disaster for Republicans in November, followed by another two years of being asked to defend lies and idiocy, followed by another election disaster in 2020. That is what most Republicans in Congress expect.

They sold out voters for years, with Republicans in control.

Congress should look in the mirror. There problem will be right in front of them. But as is always the case with you, you blame Trump.

Put a sock in it already……
