Prayer Requests 4-10-18

Please pray for Michelle and her family this morning as they mourn.

And please continue to pray for Chas and Elvera.

Anyone else have something to share?

Psalm 61

Hear my cry, O God;
    listen to my prayer.

From the ends of the earth I call to you,
    I call as my heart grows faint;
    lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
For you have been my refuge,
    a strong tower against the foe.

I long to dwell in your tent forever
    and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.
For you, God, have heard my vows;
    you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.

Increase the days of the king’s life,
    his years for many generations.
May he be enthroned in God’s presence forever;
    appoint your love and faithfulness to protect him.

Then I will ever sing in praise of your name
    and fulfill my vows day after day.

  1. 💞🙏🏼😊💞Update from Nan on Lee Burt Benbow about 4 hrs ago:
    UPDATE UPDATE!!!!💞🙏🏼💞😊💞

    Our beautiful amazing and blessed Lee Burt Benbow has been upgraded from the ICU to a regular room. Dr. Prague wants her to get up and walk a minimum of 8 times a day. She walked almost all the way from the ICU to the other side of the building when she was moved to the regular room. She is doing amazing and God has really blessed her.

    She and Tomi Ferguson Burt would also like me to take a minute to say THANK YOU for all the wonderful, beautiful, and uplifting cards that she has received. They are all so very moved and touched by such an out pour of love.

  2. Oh Michelle, My heart hurts. It must be so much harder to be able to conceive and not carry to term and lose the baby than not to be able to conceive at all.
    Weeping with you Sister.

  3. Her water broke about 11. When they got to the hospital, doctors could not find a heartbeat. They started induction about 4, and an epidural a little while ago. My son fainted in the middle of that–probably from locked knees, but it gave the staff something to do.

    He checked out fine, but he’s my most emotional child and longed for this one so much.

    Now we wait.

    Our church ladies Bible study and theirs are all praying, you and others. I am thankful.

    I’ve thought a lot about King David– how when there was a chance for his child with Bathsheba, he prayed.

    But when the child died, he washed his face, had something to eat and worshipped.

    Blessed be the name of the Lord for what He will accomplish. I’m thankful we lost the feisty little girl while I am here to help.

    But I am so very sad.

    Thank you.

  4. Oh Michelle, my heart breaks for all of you. I am glad you are able to be close and love them as you can. They will also need space to mourn alone, but right now are probably largely in shock.
