Prayer Requests 3-8-18

It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.

Anyone else?

Psalm 28

To you, Lord, I call;
    you are my Rock,
    do not turn a deaf ear to me.
   For if you remain silent,
    I will be like those who go down to the pit.
Hear my cry for mercy
    as I call to you for help,
   as I lift up my hands
    toward your Most Holy Place.

Do not drag me away with the wicked,
    with those who do evil,
   who speak cordially with their neighbors
    but harbor malice in their hearts.
Repay them for their deeds
    and for their evil work;
   repay them for what their hands have done
    and bring back on them what they deserve.

Because they have no regard for the deeds of the Lord
    and what his hands have done,
   he will tear them down
    and never build them up again.

Praise be to the Lord,
    for he has heard my cry for mercy.
The Lord is my strength and my shield;
    my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
   My heart leaps for joy,
    and with my song I praise him.

The Lord is the strength of his people,
    a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.
Save your people and bless your inheritance;
    be their shepherd and carry them forever.

  1. Please pray for BG. I personally wanted to pinch her head off of her body yesterday. I finally called her father and he told me he would handle the situation. She still has no direction in her life, refuses to discuss the future, money is sitting in an account for her to go to college, trade school, or something. Even her Nana is involved in this situation. It involves getting a dress for her to be in her cousin’s wedding on May 5th. I know it sounds like it isn’t much, but it is a symptom of deeper issues. She refuses to take personal responsibility for anything. I am removing myself from the situation and “that side” of the family can handle it. Niece is also my goddaughter and I will use my time,money, and effort on her.

    Then there is Mr P, he is seeing a different pain management specialist to have injections into the nerves in his back. If this is successful, he will have a nerve oblation. They will inject something to “kill” those nerves. Now, because of how he has walked, moved, etc with his back his left knee is giving him trouble and he is wearing a knee brace. He is falling apart on me and is grumpy on top of it.

    I need patience with both of them.
    The good new is that we are only 20 days from the due date on Little Miss H.

  2. Michelle, when will your daughter in law have the amnio? Those are the longest two weeks of a mother’s life. You know that nothing will make you terminate the pregnancy, but you want to KNOW, so you can make the best decisions going forward. Praying for your miracle.

  3. Wisdom for dealing with sixteen son. He was doing well, grades were up to one F, the rest A’s, B’s, and C’s for the eight classes, and no missing assignments. Now he is down to three D’s and lots of missed assignments.

  4. So did BG. The Friday before she was born the doctor told me that she only weighed 4 pounds. There was no mistaking when she was conceived. She was born the following Tuesday and weighed 5 lbs 7 oz. She was born on her due date. He said we needed to get her out and start feeding her. He called it something along the lines of failure to thrive. This can still turn out well. Of course you have met BG so you can judge how well, well is. 😉
