Psalm 2
1 Why do the nations conspire
and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth rise up
and the rulers band together
against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
3 “Let us break their chains
and throw off their shackles.”
4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
5 He rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
6 “I have installed my king
on Zion, my holy mountain.”
7 I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:
He said to me, “You are my son;
today I have become your father.
8 Ask me,
and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You will break them with a rod of iron;
you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”
10 Therefore, you kings, be wise;
be warned, you rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear
and celebrate his rule with trembling.
12 Kiss his son, or he will be angry
and your way will lead to your destruction,
for his wrath can flare up in a moment.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

This is working out really well, having the eighteen year old from church come and take daughter out for an hour now and then. They go to the girl’s house and play games or watch a movie. Now they are going to attempt several hours as the girl is willing to take her clothes shopping. Daughter has way outgrown her clothes, including what we bought for her a month ago but she seems to have stabilized a bit. Prayer for wisdom for the girl as she really wants to help daughter, and for daughter, that she will see and understand the real way people should treat each other. May she see and come to know the Truth in this girl.

My BIL is having trouble finding the right meds for sky-high blood pressure issues. Otherwise, he is fine and heading home again. Thanks for any prayers.

Mumsee – I was thinking about your daughter, her desire to be Catholic, and the concern that she may be possessed – or at least oppressed – by a demon (or demons), and I had a crazy idea. What would you think of trying to get a Catholic priest to do an exorcism? Of course, you would have to be very careful about who would do that, their beliefs, and their methods.
Is this just a crazy idea, or do you think it’s worth considering?

I was considering it until this afternoon when she went completely bonkers and would not stop talking about all of the things they are teaching her. Then I decided she did not need to be exposed to any more of this. Pray for wisdom. If that is what God wants, I am willing. But I don’t want to rush past Him into a bigger problem.
