It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.
Anyone else?
Psalm 147:1-12
1 Praise the Lord.
How good it is to sing praises to our God,
how pleasant and fitting to praise him!
2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
he gathers the exiles of Israel.
3 He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
4 He determines the number of the stars
and calls them each by name.
5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit.
6 The Lord sustains the humble
but casts the wicked to the ground.
7 Sing to the Lord with grateful praise;
make music to our God on the harp.
8 He covers the sky with clouds;
he supplies the earth with rain
and makes grass grow on the hills.
9 He provides food for the cattle
and for the young ravens when they call.
10 His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse,
nor his delight in the legs of the warrior;
11 the Lord delights in those who fear him,
who put their hope in his unfailing love.
12 Extol the Lord, Jerusalem;
praise your God, Zion.
Today I have full-on cold symptoms, but my tooth is feeling better. Not 100% better, but I can touch my teeth together on that side now without saying “Ow!” Still a little sensitive, though. I am very grateful that the flare-up of pain that I had has subsided.

All of the dentists we have had have told all of our people that the best thing for wisdom teeth is warm salt water to reduce the discomfort prior to opportunity to have them out.

Please pray for a family for whom I’ve requested prayer before.
My brother and sister-in-law’s friend Jody, who died two years ago, left behind a husband and daughter, Randy and Tatyanna.
My SIL sent this email tonight:
Tatyanna was in high school when her mom died, and is in college now, about an hour from home and around three hours from the hospital her dad is being transported to.
Thank you.

My mother-in-law is out of the hospital now after her fall last week. Thanks for the prayers.
