Psalm 121
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

5 The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;

She has also gained around forty pounds since beginning the meds. That can not be good for her depression.

Hmm, we decided to address the issue with her again. We try not to put much pressure on her and try to offer her healthy meals and she does not eat between snacks other than a piece of fruit now again. We have talked with her about only taking firsts. So after her counseling session, while we could get her ear, I had her weigh herself. I stand corrected, she has put on fifty pounds in two months. We talked again about portion control and wise choices and that she can slowly lose most of that weight as it is not really part of her yet. But she will have to make some changes. We finished with saying that in a year we could be sitting together and say that she had lost forty pounds and was much healthier for it.

Prayer of thanksgiving that my nephew out east in the “bomb cyclone” area wasn’t injured when he went off the road on his way home from work Thursday morning in the middle of all the treacherous weather.
Prayers for travel mercies, also, for his twin brother, who will be flying from the east coast to the west on Sunday afternoon, and returning to work Monday morning in CA.
