It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.
Anyone else?
Psalm 120
1 I call on the Lord in my distress,
and he answers me.
2 Save me, Lord,
from lying lips
and from deceitful tongues.
3 What will he do to you,
and what more besides,
you deceitful tongue?
4 He will punish you with a warrior’s sharp arrows,
with burning coals of the broom bush.
5 Woe to me that I dwell in Meshek,
that I live among the tents of Kedar!
6 Too long have I lived
among those who hate peace.
7 I am for peace;
but when I speak, they are for war.
We are in the midst of a snowstorm that is expected to last about 24 hours and leave us with up to a foot or more of snow. There’s already several inches out there. Nightingale will be working this afternoon and evening, having to drive in this. Please pray for her safety.
Also, please pray that our power does not go out and leave us without heat. The temps are still bitterly cold. It is supposed to go down to 0*F tonight, with -15* expected in the next couple nights. Oh, yeah – there’s also a windchill advisory.

Donna posted on Facebook about flights cancelled from the east to LAX. I am flying standby to Australia from LA on Sunday night. If flights are backlogged, it would make it difficult for me to get a seat. Prayers appreciated.

Prayers that you all stay safe and warm, Kizzie. And that Jo finds a seat on Sunday!

The young camper I mentioned late last year, B, did not find a match and will not live long. We’re not sure if his parents are believers. Please pray for God’s peace and that they will be brought to Him through this time.

Nightingale made it safely to work, but said that the roads were covered by about an inch of snow, with no tar visible.
In a little while, Chickadee and I will be going out to shovel, although it will still be snowing for a while. I really don’t like having to do that, with all the areas we have to do.

Little Serenity died. The influenza took her quickly. I am sure her family needs prayer, although I do not know them personally.

Jenn has been diagnosed with sepsis, and wrote something about having developed a heart condition caused by sepsis (?). (On top of the heart condition she already has.)
Her grandson Landon came through his surgery well.
