It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.
Anyone else?
Psalm 119:17-24
17 Be good to your servant while I live, that I may obey your word. 18 Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law. 19 I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me. 20 My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times. 21 You rebuke the arrogant, who are accursed, those who stray from your commands. 22 Remove from me their scorn and contempt, for I keep your statutes. 23 Though rulers sit together and slander me, your servant will meditate on your decrees. 24 Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.
My mother just now phoned and said that someone had made a left turn into the side of Second sibling’s car. Second sibling, Tiny Niece, and the unborn baby are all fine (Second sibling’s spouse wasn’t in the car at the time), and have all been checked out at the hospital. For that great gift, we are so very grateful. They now do not have a car, which, in their precarious financial state is a real hardship, but their lives have been spared to us.
So sorry to hear about Dr. Sproul, I hadn’t seen that before. 😦 What a great contribution he’s made (and hopefully will continue to make). Thanks for posting that, Kizzie.
Thankfully, my cold has not really developed into anything.
When we got home from Saskatoon this afternoon, Duke went racing onto the deck behind me and couldn’t stop. He slid right into the back of my legs and I went down almost flat onto my back with my feet in the air. If it didn’t hurt so much, it would have been funny. Please pray no permanent damage happened and that the soreness will go away quickly. Thank you.
I don’t remember if I asked you to pray for Stargazer–he’s got another exciting series of interviews and a possibility this week.
Some of you will remember he’s made it the fourth round of interviews the last two Christmases only to not get the job. 😦
Please pray this is not the third Christmas in a row that happens. It’s the mother’s heart asking; the Christian’s heart asks for God’s will.

Glad to hear they were not injured, sorry to hear of the car.
For us, son got a note from the insurance company telling him the car was covered after all.
