Another beautiful day in the neighborhood. This time fog is rolling over, light bit of fresh snow, cool out but not cold. The cherry trees transplanted with Kare’s encouragement and looking nice out there. Did chores with lots of small helpers this morning which is always beautiful. Isn’t it amazing how God has put such variety into each day??? Every day there is a change.
Another gloomy, cool, damp day here, and the color isn’t very good this year. But the dried corn with misty trees in the background, and the neighbor’s burning bush in the foreground, add some interest, and crows keep coming and fighting in my backyard for some “life.”
In the mail I got my 2018 calendar (a Shutterfly freebie) and two flannel shirts from Lands’ End (bought at a very good deal), so I guess it’s Christmas.
And we made a fairly large e-bay sale this week and I have a new editing project, so it’s good to have a bit of income coming in.
And God sent us a really beautiful moon last night and I got some decent photos–not anything that really shows it as we saw it, but pretty.
🙂 Foundation work is finishing up — that was a ‘biggie’ in the whole scheme of things.
🙂 Window restoration crew comes Thursday — another huge job to get marked “done.”
🙂 A fall pancake breakfast out with a friend; it’s windy and the skies are spectacularly blue today with temps in the 60s. It will be very, very cold at the dog park.
Rave 🙂 🙂 I got an email from someone this evening who used to support me. It has been almost two years. They were looking at their automatic bill pay and found that I wasn’t on it. They had no idea! And they just sent in a gift for this month. In the email she said that they love supporting me! I thought they just didn’t want to anymore. Teach me to gently ask.

Sorry, the real can’t get my pictures to work. Because I am an imaginary person and anybody who thinks she met me is deluded……

😦 I just saw a Christmas commercial on TV!
It’s a Biltmore Estates ad. Biltmore is beautiful, well worth the visit.
But not already.

You can’t have Christmas until after Thanksgiving.
It isn’t officially so until Bing sings “White Christmas”.
