Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 140
1 Rescue me, Lord, from evildoers;
protect me from the violent,
2 who devise evil plans in their hearts
and stir up war every day.
3 They make their tongues as sharp as a serpent’s;
the poison of vipers is on their lips.
4 Keep me safe, Lord, from the hands of the wicked;
protect me from the violent,
who devise ways to trip my feet.
5 The arrogant have hidden a snare for me;
they have spread out the cords of their net
and have set traps for me along my path.
6 I say to the Lord, “You are my God.”
Hear, Lord, my cry for mercy.
7 Sovereign Lord, my strong deliverer,
you shield my head in the day of battle.
8 Do not grant the wicked their desires, Lord;
do not let their plans succeed.
9 Those who surround me proudly rear their heads;
may the mischief of their lips engulf them.
10 May burning coals fall on them;
may they be thrown into the fire,
into miry pits, never to rise.
11 May slanderers not be established in the land;
may disaster hunt down the violent.
12 I know that the Lord secures justice for the poor
and upholds the cause of the needy.
13 Surely the righteous will praise your name,
and the upright will live in your presence.
Hi. It’s Ann. Please pray for a positive outcome —the citizenship hearing for my sister’s adopted son, Deste, is this morning at ten. Thank you.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for letting Deste find his true earthly family. I lift up his need for citizenship. Please let the processing of documents and all requirements go smoothly during the hearing. May all be finalized with approval of his citizenship. Please let peace and calm be felt by all involved. May anxieties
be dissolved. Please give reason for celebration if it is in Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Heavenly Father,
I lift up Kbells to You this morning for Your hands to open wide and pour blessings out on her and her family. Please lighten the weight of health issues in her life. Please give her more comfort and peace than she has felt in a long time. I pray for an inflow of monetary resources to meet her family’s needs. Please let her find the physical help she needs whether it is from people helpers or from other ways of handling what needs doing. You, Father God, are resourceful, and can make all things work for good. Please make a way for Kbells to see Your continuing plans to do good things in her life. Please let her have a perfect sense of your love for her 24/7.
I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen

How can they not find a file”??
It isn’t on the computer?
It means that someone has it.
Files don’t get lost unless someone is working with it.

Please pray for my friend L. Her husband asked us all to check in on her while he was out of town on a business trip. They were in the ER last night until 3am. He still made his flight today, and her mother and daughter are with her. It seems every time she takes a round of chemo she ends up in the emergency room.
She says she cries, whimpers, snivels, and pouts at home. The public, nor us ever see that side of her. For us she is positive and upbeat

Re: Ann’s request. This is the common issue most people don’t realize about the legal path to immigration. They lose your documents all the time. Then you have to re file. Each document comes with a fee. My daughter had first hand experience in this. When she contacted her Senator’s office, INS miraculously found the missing documents within 2 days.
I apologize for getting on my soapbox on the prayer thread.

rkessler, my SIL had similar issues. Any little mistake or space accidently left out etc. meant everything all over and fees all over. It also meant some long traveling for her. I would so love to see this process improved.

A friend’s in-laws from Bangladesh have gone through that, had an immigration attorney who apparently steered them wrong and after spending a lot of money they had to start over. They’ve been in this country for many years.

Our experience: sent in the application and five hundred dollar plus fee only to hear back that son was denied because we were not the ones who originally began the adoption from overseas and the other family did not finish it here. We were told we could never apply again because once you are turned down for any reason they will never approve it. The Navy said they would handle it and they did. He is a citizen.
