Psalm 128

¹Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
    who walk in obedience to him.
²You will eat the fruit of your labor;
    blessings and prosperity will be yours.
³Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
    within your house;
your children will be like olive shoots
    around your table.
⁴Yes, this will be the blessing
    for the man who fears the Lord.

⁵May the Lord bless you from Zion;
    may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem
    all the days of your life.
⁶May you live to see your children’s children—
    peace be on Israel.

My friend flies to Ukarumpa today. Staying in my flat and teaching my class.

Nightingale had some kind of bites or rash that were really itchy. (Scabies & bedbugs were ruled out, thank the Lord.) Last night, a horribly itchy, red rash (like hives) spread all over her body. She went to the doctor today, who said it was some kind of allergic reaction to something, & prescribed prednisone.

I’m sure this will give her some relief, hopefully quickly. But I remember when she was around five, her pediatrician prescribed a steroid (possibly prednisone, I don’t remember), & she developed what we now know as “roid rage”. Praying she doesn’t have that kind of reaction this time. (Although I think she’s been on prednisone another time & was fine.)
