Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 93
1 The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty;
the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength;
indeed, the world is established, firm and secure.
2 Your throne was established long ago;
you are from all eternity.
3 The seas have lifted up, Lord,
the seas have lifted up their voice;
the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.
4 Mightier than the thunder of the great waters,
mightier than the breakers of the sea—
the Lord on high is mighty.
5 Your statutes, Lord, stand firm;
holiness adorns your house
for endless days.
Calling the doctor this morning about the throwing up blood. I’m scared it’s something new and bad and I’m scared it’s going to delay the pain block.

Praying for you that you will experience God’s peace and for wisdom for the docs. And prayer for healing of the physical pain as well as the spiritual.

I need wisdom and something else, as I answer questions about the death of my friend. I know more details than most, but it isn’t my story to tell and I am very uncomfortable when people keep asking me questions. Guy did it to me this morning.

That is scary, Kbells.
Stay strong to only share what is best in God’s eyes, Kim. I pray for that strength and the wisdom to know what that is.

Thank you Kathaleena. I have issues when I give an answer to a question like this and people question the answer I give them. It comes from my alcoholic mother making stuff up that I repeated as an answer and people kept questioning it. In that case they knew I was lying, but I didn’t. Now I am very careful to only tell what I know to be the absolute truth and I don’t ever want to be the source of too much information.

Called the nurse. As Hubby suspected the blood was probably from taking too much pain meds. MRI will happen as planned.

I’m sorry, KBells. Praying for you.
Prayers, Kim. My condolences on the death of your friend, and I’m sorry you’re having to field all those questions people have about it.
DJ, hope your rash is getting better. Kare, yours too.
(Sorry I’m not up to date on anything but the prayer thread, so I might be missing information about how you all are doing. Know that I’m praying about what I do know — I’ll get caught up eventually, and pray more specifically if/as I learn more from what I’ve missed. No need to repeat yourself on this thread for my sake.)

I need to have what likely will be an uncomfortable conversation with my adult daughter at home. She is the one who tends to pass out when receiving some forms of constructive criticism. Thought I would request prayer proactively this time rather than after the fact. Please pray for my attitude, too. I don’t know that my heart is in the right place right now. I’m struggling with impatience about some things that happened today. Pray for wisdom regarding when and how to have this conversation. It is necessary, and the sooner it takes place (with me in the right frame of mind, that is), the better.
Thanks.

I hope you can find something to affirm her before you criticize, 6 arrows. Praying you can speak the truth in love and that she will receive it as such.

Absolutely, Kathaleena — I agree with you that affirmation is important, especially at such a time, if it’s possible to truthfully give. And it is in her case. There is much I can affirm with her, and have, but she’ll need it more than ever now.
Thank you for the prayers. They are helping me. The younger kids will soon be occupied with something engrossing, and I think that will be a good time to talk quietly with daughter in private.

Kizzie, there was steady improvement last week, but regression Friday night and continuing. Pain in a different place, not so much with the original problem area. I don’t know what to make of it, but have finished the full course of the antibiotics, and am continuing home remedies.

Pain isn’t as bad as the first two weeks, I meant to add. (This is week 4 now.)
Conversation with daughter hasn’t happened yet. Other things came up. Am hoping for more time later, and privacy. Hard to come by around here.
