It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.
Anyone else?
Psalm 22:1-11
1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me,
so far from my cries of anguish?
2 My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer,
by night, but I find no rest.
3 Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One;
you are the one Israel praises.
4 In you our ancestors put their trust;
they trusted and you delivered them.
5 To you they cried out and were saved;
in you they trusted and were not put to shame.
6 But I am a worm and not a man,
scorned by everyone, despised by the people.
7 All who see me mock me;
they hurl insults, shaking their heads.
8 “He trusts in the Lord,” they say,
“let the Lord rescue him.
Let him deliver him,
since he delights in him.”
9 Yet you brought me out of the womb;
you made me trust in you, even at my mother’s breast.
10 From birth I was cast on you;
from my mother’s womb you have been my God.
11 Do not be far from me,
for trouble is near
and there is no one to help.
Prayer for husband as he continues to try to get our pastor to engage in conversation about spiritual things rather than just blowing off everybody who sees things differently. They have been talking about the calling of God and eternal security and a few others. Wisdom on how much to attempt and openness to hear the other side, though not necessarily agree.

There was a difficult conversation at our house yesterday with BG, her dad, and me with Mr. P listening in. Some healing as ex-h offered an apology to husband. BG wasn’t happy but she was told she was unable to manage her own health so her parents needed to do it for her. She was also told that she is at two strikes and the 3rd one will result in losing her car and that should she end up dehydrated and throwing up she will be dropped off at the ER but she is on her own. Someone will pick her up when she is released.

That must have been so difficult, Kim, but also much needed. Praying for BG to come to her senses, especially her spiritual senses.

I am currently making the 2 hour drive down to visit Kaitlyn. She had a much better day yesterday. The blood transfusion on Wednesday and the a/b have helped her a lot. Please pray that I will be an encouragement to her.
Praying for wisdom for all involved with BG.

Keva, our afghan/poodle cross, has been throwing up and now bloody diarrhea last night, so we’re taking him to the vet today too. He’s sleeping peacefully in the back of the Subaru right now.

Pancreatic attack? That happened to Tess shortly after I adopted her, landed her overnight in the pet ER. It’s never happened again thankfully.

Praying for your travels Kare…and for Kaitlyn…she is blessed to have so much love surrounding her…
Pancreatic attack? My neighbor’s dog has been having those same symptoms for a week…many X-rays, blood tests, etc but still no solutions. I will mention that to my neighbor…the vet seems to be at a loss as to what is going on…praying for Keva!

In all of my drama I have neglected to have you pray for my friend L. She had her first chemo treatment on Monday. She is being admitted to the hospital today for extreme nausea. She is having a very hard time with the chemo and she was already in a weakened condition.
Please pray for her husband as well. He adores her and I am afraid for him if something happens to her. She is the rock of the family. (Just like any true Navy Wife, eh Michelle?)

I had a great visit with Kaitlyn. A few other young ladies from summer camp staff were there when I arrived and it was a fun reunion. Kaitlyn’s O2 sats were 93 when I was there and this evening they had risen to 96!!! The highest since she was first hospitalized. Granted she is on 10l/minute of O2 with a mask, but early in the week they had been 79. Oh and her heart rate has slowed down and is not needing to work so hard.
Please pray that this continues and that God will be glorified in all – good or bad. K has 1 tattoo that is triangle >^v (God is greater than the ups and downs). We talked about how He is greater than her bad days on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday and He is still greater than her good days yesterday and today.
Keva is also in hospital now (vet) and receiving IV fluids for dehydration from vomiting/diarrhea. We’re missing him tonight, but very glad we have Duke to distract us.
