Prayer Requests 2-21-17

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 143

Lord, hear my prayer,
    listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
    come to my relief.
Do not bring your servant into judgment,
    for no one living is righteous before you.
The enemy pursues me,
    he crushes me to the ground;
he makes me dwell in the darkness
    like those long dead.
So my spirit grows faint within me;
    my heart within me is dismayed.
I remember the days of long ago;
    I meditate on all your works
    and consider what your hands have done.
I spread out my hands to you;
    I thirst for you like a parched land.

Answer me quickly, Lord;
    my spirit fails.
Do not hide your face from me
    or I will be like those who go down to the pit.
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
    for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
    for to you I entrust my life.
Rescue me from my enemies, Lord,
    for I hide myself in you.
10 Teach me to do your will,
    for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
    lead me on level ground.

11 For your name’s sake, Lord, preserve my life;
    in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble.
12 In your unfailing love, silence my enemies;
    destroy all my foes,
    for I am your servant.

  1. My friend Jenn, the lady with all the severe health issues, also has tachycardia. Her resting heart rate is 150 – 170. It has been this way for a while, but she had not followed up by going to a cardiologist until recently. (She thought her fast heart beat in a doctor’s office was merely due to “white coat syndrome” – anxiety about seeing the doctor.)

    They are trying a medicine on her.

    Meanwhile, she still deals with the perpetual infection around her bladder tube, & last night saw some black specks coming through the tube.

    This poor lady. Please pray. Thank you.

  2. Fifteen year old daughter is teetering on the brink again. I mentioned to her that she was willing to take cold medicine for her cold to help her feel better, it would make sense to take meds from her doctor to help her feel better. That was last week. She is not able to hear anything from me this week. Wisdom, as always.

  3. Thanks for the prayers. I didn’t sleep well last night, and it’s been a hard day today. I practiced piano in the late afternoon, working on my April program, and I was crying probably about half the time, I was so worked up with the extended family tension at first. I felt a lot better by the end of practice, though, and that has extended into the evening hours now. I really appreciate the prayers you all have offered. They are helping.

    Prayers for all the mentions above, too, Kizzie, Mumsee and RKessler.
