It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.
Anyone else?
Psalm 114
1 When Israel came out of Egypt,
Jacob from a people of foreign tongue,
2 Judah became God’s sanctuary,
Israel his dominion.
3 The sea looked and fled,
the Jordan turned back;
4 the mountains leaped like rams,
the hills like lambs.
5 Why was it, sea, that you fled?
Why, Jordan, did you turn back?
6 Why, mountains, did you leap like rams,
you hills, like lambs?
7 Tremble, earth, at the presence of the Lord,
at the presence of the God of Jacob,
8 who turned the rock into a pool,
the hard rock into springs of water.
The United States of America. Please.

In other news, Paul, the man from our church who lost his hands and feet, is in rehab and going gangbusters. Doctors are predicting he’ll be back riding his bike by June.
Pastor’s guessing May.
Paul’s attitude is good, constitution strong and he’s close to home. We’re all thankful.

Husband is still stuck in Portland. That is a praise. As he is stuck, he is not trying to drive through all the ice and muck.

Stuck in Portland could be the title of a country western song

With all our heart and with all our mind, let us pray to the
Lord, saying, “Lord, have mercy.”
For the peace from above, for the loving kindness of God,
and for the salvation of our souls, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For the peace of the world, for the welfare of the holy Church
of God, and for the unity of all peoples, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For our Bishop, and for all the clergy and people, let us pray
to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For our President, Donald, and for the leaders of the nations, and for all in
authority, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For this city (town, village, ___________ ), for every city and
community, and for those who live in them, let us pray to
the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For seasonable weather, and for an abundance of the fruits of
the earth, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For the good earth which God has given us, and for the
wisdom and will to conserve it, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For those who travel on land, on water, or in the air [or
through outer space], let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For the aged and infirm, for the widowed and orphans, and
for the sick and the suffering, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For ___________ , let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For the poor and the oppressed, for the unemployed and the
destitute, for prisoners and captives, and for all who
remember and care for them, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For all who have died in the hope of the resurrection, and for
all the departed, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.

Kim, in praying for the president, do they really use his first name (and first name only)? That surprises me.

K has a mass in her abdomen which is likely related to her lung infection. Hopefully she will find out more on Monday.

Please pray for my internet, or computer, or plugs, whatever is causing me to be offline. I finally switched where it was plugged in and that helped. But my icon is saying that my computer is plugged in and not charging. Maybe time to go work at school.
