Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 97
1 The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad;
let the distant shores rejoice.
2 Clouds and thick darkness surround him;
righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
3 Fire goes before him
and consumes his foes on every side.
4 His lightning lights up the world;
the earth sees and trembles.
5 The mountains melt like wax before the Lord,
before the Lord of all the earth.
6 The heavens proclaim his righteousness,
and all peoples see his glory.
7 All who worship images are put to shame,
those who boast in idols—
worship him, all you gods!
8 Zion hears and rejoices
and the villages of Judah are glad
because of your judgments, Lord.
9 For you, Lord, are the Most High over all the earth;
you are exalted far above all gods.
10 Let those who love the Lord hate evil,
for he guards the lives of his faithful ones
and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
11 Light shines on the righteous
and joy on the upright in heart.
12 Rejoice in the Lord, you who are righteous,
and praise his holy name.
Very uncomfortable day today with my back hurting. Heating pad and I are best friends.
I have begun reading Harry Potter to the small folk, which is definitely a book that can present some challenges in foster and adopted and emotionally disturbed and such though it is quite funny as well and fun to listen to the deep chortles and outright guffaws. Yesterday we read about Harry’s broken glasses and we giggled that they were taped like ten year old’s. This morning fifteen year old has broken glasses.
And so it continues. Prayer for wisdom.

AnnMS How did it go last night?
We are having some eating/dehydration/throwing up issues with BG. She isn’t drinking enough liquids which nauseates her and when she tries to eat she throws up. Nana called me this morning so I took her some Gator Aid. We did get her to hold down some saltines and some REALLY sweet tea. (The joke is that when the hospital runs out of glucose they come get Nana’s tea). We went through this last year and the family doctor threatened to put her in the hospital to re-hydrate her.

Frustrating isn’t it Kim. I had that problem with Elvera last April.
That’s what put Elvera into the hospital the first time. I discovered on Tuesday that she hadn’t had anything to drink since Sunday. And I couldn’t get the to take more than a sip.
After she got out, I was able to force her to drink on some schedule.
Fortunately, it’s no longer a problem
I don’t know what caused it. Nobody ever gave us a reasonable diagnosis.
It wasn’t pneumonia. It wasn’t some infection. I never knew.

Kim – Why doesn’t BG drink enough? Is it a control issue? (“They tell me to drink, so I’m not gonna.”)

With Elvera, it wasn’t a control issue. I don’t know why she didn’t drink, but it wasn’t that.

Kizzie, I don’t know. I am of the sort that I avoid sickness and pain as much as I can. If I know I get sick if I don’t eat or drink then I eat or drink. I drink because I am thirsty. I obviously have a She has always been strong willed. Today her dad asked me if I thought we may be dealing with something worse like anorexia. That has been my fear in the past. I also know that marijauna is back to being an issue because she says the only time she can eat is when she smokes it.

Poor husband. They told him they were sending him to Los Angeles but sent him to Boise and now it is off to Bellevue in severe weather conditions. He already had to chain up on one pass, which they are sending him back over so looks like he will get more experience with the chains.
Prayer for wisdom and safety. Thanks.
