Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 65
1 Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion;
to you our vows will be fulfilled.
2 You who answer prayer,
to you all people will come.
3 When we were overwhelmed by sins,
you forgave our transgressions.
4 Blessed are those you choose
and bring near to live in your courts!
We are filled with the good things of your house,
of your holy temple.
5 You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds,
God our Savior,
the hope of all the ends of the earth
and of the farthest seas,
6 who formed the mountains by your power,
having armed yourself with strength,
7 who stilled the roaring of the seas,
the roaring of their waves,
and the turmoil of the nations.
8 The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders;
where morning dawns, where evening fades,
you call forth songs of joy.
9 You care for the land and water it;
you enrich it abundantly.
The streams of God are filled with water
to provide the people with grain,
for so you have ordained it.
10 You drench its furrows and level its ridges;
you soften it with showers and bless its crops.
11 You crown the year with your bounty,
and your carts overflow with abundance.
12 The grasslands of the wilderness overflow;
the hills are clothed with gladness.
13 The meadows are covered with flocks
and the valleys are mantled with grain;
they shout for joy and sing.
Please pray for Scott and Lindsey to travel safely today. We’ve had a lot of rain the last three days and have some flooding on roads . Please also pray for all the folks south of us who’s homes flooded over the weekend.

Also, my mom is okay–but she fell again yesterday. She was in her bathroom downstairs and calling for help when my sister heard her (she was upstairs). My dad is very hard of hearing, so even though he was in the living room watching football, he heard nothing. Fortunately, she only bruised her tailbone. My sister returns to Africa this Thursday–she talked with them about the need to hire someone to help–my siblings and I have agreed to split the cost–but so far they have refused this proposal… Please pray they’d recognize they need help.

Prayer for husband as he comes through Montana and over the three mountain passes into Idaho early tomorrow morning. He is not excited about chaining up so, we are praying the snow will not be on the roads as he goes through. And safety. And wisdom. Thanks.

Just a little thing. We didn’t get the Christmas tree up before Hubby’s surgery and the Kid has been asking about getting it up. It will be up to him and me. He is a strong kid and can do all the lifting but I’m a little scared of driving the car with the trailer that we will need to get the tree home.

Amen. Praying for you both, KBells.
Glad Scott and Lindsey got there safely, Ann. Continued prayers on the other things you mentioned. For your husband, too, Mumsee.
First Arrow left a little bit ago, heading back to his apartment. Three-hour drive, no snow coming down today. I’m thankful for that. Prayers appreciated for clear roadways.

The amen was to your 2:44, KBells. Praying for your 2:47, also.

Praising God a car accident was averted tonight. Daughter pulled out into traffic, not seeing the car coming from the right as she attempted to turn left, but she reacted quickly and correctly when I shouted “Stop!” The roads, unlike yesterday, were dry and clear, and there were no cars coming from the left, in which lane we came to our sudden stop.
Awfully close call. I got my cardiac workout, and she was very much more careful, looking and looking again, for the rest of the trip.

Stargazer has a hot lead on a job arranged by the most unexpected cousin–in San Francisco in big data. Only at my prodding did he reveal how many interviews he has had since Thanksgiving.
If it’s from the Lord, amen. If it’s not, amen.
