Please pray for my mom and dad. My mom is supposed to be discharged from rehab tomorrow…..
Prayers requested for me, too. All the family drama is wearing on me…..
Well, husband is off to the Bahamas for a few days. It is father in law’s ninetieth birthday and they cruise so for his birthday, it is a cruise. Sister in law paid for husband to fly there and then cruise with her and their brother and his wife, and dad and step mom. Should be fun! Prayers for them that they would set the drama aside and enjoy the time together. Prayers for us that we would carry on in his absence. Thanks. And I will try not to think of how many destroyed homes could be rebuilt if people just sent their cruise money to the Bahamas….let’s see….one cruise ship holds…..no, won’t go there.
I am fine today. People like me take a statement and decide that something is wrong with us. All the therapy and positive affirmations in the world won’t fix it.
What we call my heart bleeps (something called PAT, kind of a racing heart for brief periods of time) have been acting up a bit tonight, probably due to feeling stressed. Auntie Chickadee has no patience for Little Guy today, & her (over)reactions, as well as Little Guy’s reactions to her, are stressing me.
I’m feeling stressed also with the house things to tend to, health insurance decisions to make (and a well-meaning girlfriend who keeps nagging me about medicare enrollment & locating all that necessary paperwork), Carol calling with complaints about this and that and wanting to move again (her feelings were hurt when a staffer yelled at her after Carol wasn’t being careful about crossing the street & she almost got hit).
And tomorrow I have so much work to do in the house again, trying to organize things for when workers invade.
