Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 8

¹O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;

8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

9 O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

  3. Please pray for God’s touch on Little Guy’s life. He’s still exhibiting after-effects of that incident.

    Also, please pray that I do not catch the colds that he & Chickadee have. My next cataract surgery is a week from tomorrow, & I really don’t need a cold to delay it. (It’s great that my left eye is so much clearer, but the eyes seem to not be working together, as the left one is now better at distance, but the right one is still near-sighted. So I am looking forward to getting the right one fixed, & then eventually a new prescription for my glasses.)

    And one more request. Lifting up YF today on her 29th birthday, for God to do a mighty work in her heart & life.

  4. Amen to all the above.

    I’d like to request prayer for a friend — K — regarding three situations with her family. One, her dad, after having had open heart surgery two weeks ago, was rehospitalized today with a blood clot in his lung. Two, her husband is about to quit a difficult job situation. Three, it sounds like there are escalating issues with a rebellious son.
