Louisville is the real deal. They’ve now scored 70, 62, and 63 in the first 3 weeks. They embarrassed #2 Fl. State. And Action Jackson is a touchdown machine. Another 5 this week. I think we could have a Heisman candidate here.
After that…. bring on ‘Bama…. 🙂

Every one wants Bama, we’re Slytherin house, we’re district 2, we’re that mean team that beat the Bad News Bears. Can’t have a heroic underdog story without the perpetual winners. You’re Welcome one team a year who beats us then gets to feel like The Karate Kid for a few months. 🙂

Gamecocks played poorly, but they won.
Did you see where the SC State player made a safety of a kickoff. He received the kick in the end zone and gave it to the official without downing the ball.

kbells didn’t win. Now, I’m not saying she’s “district 2”, or “that mean team that beat the Bad News Bears.” But she was undefeated in Pigskin Picks until this week. AJ wins since he tied for the highest score and got the closest guess on the tie breaker.
Here’s how the games went:
Louisville 63-FSU 20. Did FSU bring just the JV squad, or are they overrated? Or is Louisville underrated?
Nebraska 35-Oregon 32. Looks like a typical game in Lincoln. Lotsa points on the board.
Bama 48-Ole Miss 43. Bama shows they are human. Or at least, not super human.
SoCar 20-ECU 15 Chas’s Gamecocks out did Kbells’ Purple Pirates.
Navy 21-Tulane 14 Middies sink Owls.
LSU 23-MSU 20. A friend told me about this one. He was worried about his Tigers.
Army 66-UTEP 14. El Paso has never had a great football team, so don’t get too excited about this one, Cadet fans. GO NAVY!
Mich St. 36-ND 28. YES! Not that I’m a Spartan fan, mind you.
UMass 21-FIU 13. Maybe Florida State should have played FIU instead of going to Kentucky.
Texas A&M 29- Auburn 16. No comment, since I don’t want to offend any Tiger fans.

Peter, just think, if you had the power of AJ, you could tweak your guesses just a little bit, and no one would ever know, and you’d be the winner. You don’t think he’d do such a thing, do you? Do you keep a record of his predictions?

Yes, Cheryl. I have a spreadsheet I use to keep track of this. So whatever he posts the first time is what I record. And I usually try to record the guesses before any games are finished, except this weekend when I was away all weekend.

I’m usually the first set of picks every week. I do it right after I post it. Perhaps instead of questioning my integrity, you could just note my picks yourself, so you can make sure I’m not cheating in the future. Best to be sure I actually am next time, before you allege that I could or might.
