I am seeing little glimpses of maturity showing through in BG. She isn’t where I want her to be, but it is progress. Please continue your prayers for her. Thank you.
Please pray for my friend G’s mother. She has Post Polio Syndrome and other health issues. She lost her husband Christmas Eve and G moved in with her to keep the promise he made to his step father to look after his mother. She has a lung infection and has been in the hospital since Sunday night. One day looks good and the next she has had a set back. He found out that she had been taking too much of her meds which isn’t unusual for someone in her condition. They forget when they last took them, they are in pain, so they take more. For several nights before he took her to the hospital she had been wandering around the condo all night. One night she cooked a full meal. It is a sad situation,but luckily she is able to afford someone to come in and help him out. He has a trip planned to Greece and I really want him to be able to go.
Please continue to pray for 4th Arrow. Her Lyme’s test was positive. Prayers for her healing and physical comfort. Some symptoms come and go, some have appeared on only one day, then not again, others have been going on consistently for over a week — the head pain/weird feeling she describes, the neck stiffness (though it was less today), the fatigue, and overall feeling of weakness, despite the fact she is eating, drinking, and sleeping well.
6 Arrows – Do you think you will call that other place & inform the doctor (or leave a message for her) that 4th Arrow was tested, & it was positive? She may learn something from that, & it may help another patient down the road.
And yes, I realize she could also merely shrug it off. But I would think it may be helpful.
I have a young friend who brought her daughter into the emergency room with blotches of rash all over her body. She had researched before she went in and determined her daughter had Lymes. She had been diagnosed a year earlier and treated with anti-biotic. Whether it just went underground or was a new bout, the symptoms seem to point to that.
The doctor had no clue what was wrong. The mother showed him what she had found online and he was quite impressed with her knowledge. She was tested again and did have it. They are treating her again. She is also on a special diet. One part of that is using strictly grass-fed beef. I am unsure at other issues with the diet.
Glad they found something that will, at least, give you a direction to go.
Karen, yes, my husband has now said (tonight) that he’s going to call that cardiologist who refused to test daughter for Lyme’s.
Kathaleena, what a blessing your friend’s daughter had such a medical practitioner, who was open to receiving new information, and testing accordingly.
