Prayer Requests 6-20-16

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 68:1-4

¹Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.

  1. So sorry, KBells and Kim. I am keeping you in my prayers regularly (along with many of you!)

I feel so blessed to have many of you pray for me and mine. What a privilege prayer is for the church!

  2. Praying Kim.

You too KBells. It’s tough when our bodies betray us. I know the difficulties of losing full use of my arm. I imagine a hand is just as bad, if not worse. Whether it gets better or not, you will learn to adjust the way you live and do things accordingly. It’s hard,. it takes time, and effort, but I know you can do it. And we’ll help pray you thru it, whether it gets better or worse. If you’ve got specific stuff or needs, just let us know. 🙂

  3. Heavenly Father, You have vast stores of strength, power, and might. Please, please use that power to create flows of goodness into the lives of Kim and Kbells. May adversities be turned around and become the opposite of what has been happening more quickly than anyone could imagine like that unexpected wind mentioned on the other thread. You are able to do all things. Please give needed support to those in situations in which they can not discuss details. You see all. You know all. You have all the hurts and losses in this life covered for those who believe in Jesus.

Thank You for making a good situation for the new student with 6 Arrows. May they have a wonderful teacher/pupil learning relationship.

I lift up the new young man, maybe only 24 years old, who will be the part time worship leader at my church. May he be blessed as he learns and grows in his new position. I pray for all to be supportive and that he will have good friends, good housing arrangements, and that You will keep evil and temptation far, far away from him. I pray You will put a hedge of protection around him, and that he will not grow weary in doing good, and that he will be strong in Jesus.

Please continue to be working out salvation of the younger generation who have been mentioned on this blog as unsaved or uncommitted to Jesus. You know where each stands in their beliefs this very moment. I pray they are each closer to believing than when I last lifted them to You in prayer.

Thank You, Abba, for how You are working things for good even when we see only what makes us feel sad at times. Help us to realize that any losses we have just make for more space in life for You to fill. You surround with comfort and goodness as only You can give in unseen ways. Material losses are nothing to compare with the benefits of closeness to You.

Please give Kim wisdom and perseverance for what she is going through. Please give Kbells patience and relief.

I pray in the beautiful name of Jesus,
    Amen

  4. We have a young pastor friend. He went to a Christian school with my children. His sister is in the hospital with most of her brain damaged by drugs. He is asking for prayers for her and his family. Her brain stem area is still ok and helping keep her alive. They do not expect her to live long. I am not going to give her name, since I have no permission, but I know God knows.
