I still need prayer today as I once again move BG our of my house and into her Nana’s. Her paternal family has rallied around us. I just need strength to get through the next few weeks then she and I will take our trip and figure things out. The things that were said t yesterday are not something a mother can easily forgive. She is a spoiled brat but she didn’t deserve that and neither did I.
Shaking. Our dear friend Pam was killed this morning while riding her motor scooter to work at 4am. A pole had fallen across the freeway and she hit it. She was alive when helpers got to her and died either on the way or once she got to the hospital.
Pam was age with grown kids and she was the cheerful, sane cornerstone of her family, particularly for her husband who can be very emotional. My husband and hers are good friends.
We’re all shocked. Pam and I had a long, fun conversation Sunday afternoon about what God was doing in her life and the things he had taught her in the last difficult months. After a terrible job loss and some months of fluctuation in employment, things were looking up and she was very excited.
Cut short.
I’ve been on the phone the last 20 minutes and everyone is shocked, horrified, and grieved. My husband was nearly speechless.
Lord, how good it is that your Spirit intercedes for us when words cannot express our hearts. Bless Kim, Paul, and BG, Pam and Michelle and their families, KBells, and the Nest today.
People in accidents tend to be disoriented, not surprisingly. I am sure the Prius driver feels terrible as well, we should be praying for him as well. And for the truck driver who appears to be avoiding responsibility.
I came on here to ask for prayer for husband as he is off on his first long trip. He told them not to pass him if they thought he was a danger to the public. He really does not want to hurt any body. And by the way, I got my jury notice today.

Things can be said, but they can be forgiven. People say things for lots of reasons. Frustration and anger seem to be common.

And now there’s the family . . . yikes.

The story does not help and makes us all feel so much worse, thinking of her trying to crawl to safety: http://www.pressdemocrat.com/news/5640165-181/santa-rosa-woman-struck-by

Praying for both of you, Mumsee. (And the other requests as well, of course.)
Very sorry for your painful loss, Michelle.
