A couple from the church have a granddaughter who was just born with a severe congenital defect. There is nothing the doctors can do for her, and her parents are taking her home to die. Pray for comfort and peace for them all.
I really could use prayer around here. BG and Mr. P got into a shouting match. She packed and left. I had finally thought things were better, but there were things said that cannot be unsaid and I am broken hearted. I don’t know what to do.
Right now everything is more than I can handle. She will be with her cousin tonight, from there I think we have made arrangements for her to go to Nana’s. I had lunch with her and with a head full of steam she thinks she can live on her on. I am continuing to hold on to our trip to J H Ranch and see if that makes any difference. I think I am going away for the weekend, somewhere, anywhere, so I can be alone and think.
Kim, remember, your daughter is her own person. She will be making her own decisions and building her own life. You have a life with your husband and plan to be together for the duration. Praying for you.
It would be hard to graduate from high school and now it’s time to jump start your life without anything beyond the CA trip to plan for. That’s why a lot of us went to college–to delay having to be in charge of our life until we were 21 or 22 or 23 or . . . 59.
Yep, they say the fun seeking part of the brain develops early but the sound decision making portion doesn’t get there until mid twenties. And then it is all down hill. I too was clueless. But God saw me through. Many of my children are clueless and some do not have even a partial ear to God. I will pray but they will do what they will do.
This psalm is also a song, so thanks for giving me praise as I go to sleep

So sorry to hear that, Kim, maybe an overload of emotions going on with her during graduation week?

Praying, Phos. Praying, Kim, Praying, Karen.
Kim, sometimes they push things so they can have an excuse to do what they had planned anyway.

Kim, I’m just reading this now, and I’m sorry to read that report. May cooler heads prevail in a day or two.
