Prayer Requests 4-2-16

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 143

¹Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.

And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.

Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.

I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.

I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.

Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.

10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

11 Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name’s sake: for thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.

12 And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.

  1. Prayer for the situation in Moscow as they decide how to proceed. There is a seminar next Friday at the Good Sam a block away, to help caregivers and care receivers to know what to expect from each other. They will attend that. Dad knows she is a teen and making mistakes but has been a huge help to them on staying in their own home. Stepmom (whom I love and adore and am very happy for them finding each other nearly thirty years ago after their spouses died), is very uncomfortable with her around. If she is sent packing, they will have to move to assisted living. That is only a block from their home so an easy walk for my dad.

We are concerned for daughter’s mental health after her break up with Canadian boy. But she seems to be sort of back on track now. She may come here and live in our camp trailer until she can get her life together again if they can’t have her there any longer. God’s wisdom. They have been a huge help for one another but if daughter is going bonkers and taking advantage of them to help her friends, not a good thing. Thanks.

  2. I think I’ve written before that my friend Susan’s husband Paul was without a pulse for about 20 minutes, then she dropped to her knees in front of the paramedics. As she started to pray, his chest heaved & his heart started again.

Now that Paul has had surgery, the doctor has told them that of the people with the kind of blockage that he had, only 10% survive. Wow! Susan is praising God for such a miracle.

  3. Please pray for my aide Wendy, she hurt herself and is in a lot of pain. Seems to be her ribs, I have given her all the pain meds that I have and she has been to the clinic. It hurts me to see her hurting and of course she wants to work as she needs the pay.

Also, I just got a notice and the mom of one of my PNG students may have died. I am not sure of all the relationships in that family so will let you know more later.
