Busy day today, and my back is twinging. That usually means it is time to stop and rest it. Nine year old and I were dragging fifty pound bags of feed out of the feed bin, always an awkward angle. And eight year old and I have been planting fruit trees. We need to finish that up today, with five more trees. I dug the holes a couple of days ago so that is done. And we have to build a fence to protect them from the goats. Fence pounding is beyond eight year old so that leaves fifty eight year old. We may have to put it off if my back is taking a break, but not too long as they need to get into the ground. Wisdom. As always. Thanks.
Prayers for wisdom as I prepare to sub for my best friend, who has been leading a twice-monthly Bible study on 2 Peter. She’ll be out of state two weeks from today, so I’ll lead that day. We’re especially looking at chapter one, verses 5-8, a favorite portion of Scripture that I memorized some years back, but one in which I feel I’m falling short big time.
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayers for me sitting at Hospice with friend Mary from church. She is a retired missionary. Wonderful person. We were scheduled to go to a WMU conference later this spring.
Good morning, God! I love You!

I’m pretty sure I’ve made a decision. Now, let’s see what God does with it. 🙂
(I’d rather not keep waking up at 3 to debate it . . . )

6A. When are you leading this study?

We got the trees planted, skipped the grass for today, changed the fence plans. Off to the heating pad.
