It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget to pray for The Gambia, and for Ajisuun as well.
Anyone else?
Matthew 1:17-24
17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.
20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
Cheryl’s doctor released her for light duty/sedentary work about a week ago. Once workers comp got off their butts and did their job and the things necessary from their end, her boss and VP came up with a plan to get her back on full/normal pay. They’re letting her use her remaining vacation/holiday days thru the end of the year. On Jan. 4th they will issue her a laptop and let her work from home until she is able to return to regular work. This removes a lot of the unknown financially and will help us get back to some type of normal, whatever that is….
This was a nice Christmas present, and we’re very thankful. 🙂
Thank You for encouraging news where we can see You working things out for the good of those who love You and are called by You. That’s so wonderful to hear about Cheryl and AJ, and also about Joanne ‘ s weight loss success, and that Art got that catheter out before Christmas. Lots of good news lately for making our Christmas brighter. ♡
I pray for safety for all those in the military and law enforcementhis special week of celebration. Please help them to be alerted to any plans to do harm to innocent people, civilians and in the services. Please keep people well over this week as many travel great distances to see loved ones and germs tend to visit along, with the people.
I pray for wonderful Christmas Eve services and that many who don’t regularly attend church will be inspired and decide to commit to a relationship with Jesus and church membership in 2016.
Thank You for being our One True God so we don’t have to divy up our worship time among many false gods. Thank You for Your perfect plan for Jesus and each of us. You left out no one. Please give us more faith and help us each to bless others in similar ways to how You have blessed us. In Jesus’ name, Amen
