Prayer Requests 12-7-15

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 33:1-12

¹Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.

Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.

He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of theLord.

By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.

Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

10 The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.

11 The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

  1. Praying Kim.

Quick praise, followup doctor visit I had this morning eased my mind about something. But they had a hard time finding a vein for blood work (first time that’s happened to me), so I got poked a lot.

    😦

I even had lost a few pounds from my last visit 2 months ago, so that was good — but I need to lose more.

  2. AJ here,

    The hits just keep coming…..

Liz and I were involved in an accident this afternoon. We’re OK, a little sore, and I have a feeling tomorrow will be worse, for me at least. The car might be totaled though, we’ll see, it’s older so probably. 😦 I loved that car. 😦

The kid made a left turn right into us at a green light. I swerved so it wasn’t head-on, but he got the bumper, hood, tire, and quarter panel on the driver’s side. Lots of fluid leaks too. At least he admitted fault to the officer and it’s noted in the report. Now to deal with the insurance companies… 😦

  3. AJ, I’m not a lawyer, but I suspect a lawyer would suggest you see a doctor anyway. (I didn’t, when I got hit, but it was a less serious hit and I didn’t feel sore then or later.)

  4. Sixth Arrow is sick — fever, headache, eyes hurt. She was in close proximity to her oldest sister when she was here most of last week and sick the whole time, so I’m afraid youngest is getting the same bug.

  5. Yeah he was insured, and he admitted fault to everyone, including the cop.The officer said that would be in the report. His insurance called as soon as we got home. I told them they needed to call back tomorrow. I spoke to mine, so that’s done, and they told me I don’t need to speak to them, and I probably won’t say much, except to point out it was his fault and that he admitted as much to the police. We’ll see.

  6. Sorry to hear and yet thankful it was not worse, AJ. I hope you will not suffer too much pain
    😦
Lots to pray about today. God hears all our concerns, moment by moment, pain by pain, hurt by hurt. He is good, seeking our best even when we don’t understand.
