Prayer Requests 11-17-15

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 15

¹Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

  1. Please pray for safety as we travel the mountain passes today. There have been many accidents in the last couple of days, closing the highways for hours at a time. Then tomorrow we will be driving across the prairie with high winds and blowing snow – not fun.

  2. Heavenly Father,

Thank You for taking care of those traveling in dangerous situations. Please keep Kare and all safe during iffy moments. I pray traffic delays will not cause any to be stranded for hours.

Please be with Lee through his employment processing. Thank You for giving this quick path to needed employment. May he be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.

Please help me to be a strong support for Art this evening and tomorrow. Please help his surgeon and other medical providers to do excellent work that will repair and do no damage. Please keep any bleeding under control. May this be a fruitful step toward complete recovery. I ask in advance for good pain control and little suffering. Help me to be patient. Help me to feel appreciated. And help me not to get frustrated with others and their perceived inabilities.

I pray for Stargazer to get that job if You know it was meant for him.

Thank You for all those who are able to have early Thanksgiving celebrations with loved ones. May all have safe travels.

Please comfort those in France who lost loved ones or are still suffering physically from wounds. See the great sadness, and make a way through the darkness into the light. May hearts be changed to follow the way of Jesus, and never turn back. May revival sweep through France so many will believe and help turn even the hearts of enemies to Jesus.

Thank You for blessing Karen and Lee with the love of Forrest.

Thank You for helping Kim and Mr. P go through the rough times with BG. Bring her back to thinking rightly about how to do life without peers who lead into troubles.

Please bless my brother with a new employment opportunity and give me patience to help him as needed.

I have so many others to pray for. know each one. Please meet their needs.

I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

  3. Thanks for praying – we only made about 100 miles today and we’re stuck in a hotel in Revelstoke. but it’s a lovely hotel and they gave us the “Revelstuck” rate! Tomorrow we’ll hopefully be able to drive over the last big pass and head on to Calgary.
