Peter’s Pack of Pickled Pigskin Picks “15-Week 10

The Hallowe’en scare is over. Most of us would rather forget that disastrous weekend when only Chas got more than half the games correct. Our scores resembled the Sun Belt Conference records – 8 of 11 teams are below .500 this year. No, we’ll forge on to bigger games. Chas chose an all-North Carolina tie breaker. A game to decide the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy with Army visiting Air Force, while Navy takes on undefeated Memphis. Several other Top 25 teams go against each other this week.  Oh, and there is a pillow fight. It’s a battle-for-the-bottom involving different colleges from Michigan and Ohio. So have fun! Just post before noon Saturday.

  5. Mumsee- The Broncos are not playing this week.

    My picks:
    Penn State – I think they got a bad deal in the scandal a few years back.
    Clemson – I like Tigers.
    Air Force – I grew up near an Air Force base.
    Navy – One can hope, right?
    Oklahoma State – Cowboys in Oklahoma stomp the frogs.
    Auburn – See above.
    LSU – Ditto.
    Arizona – These aren’t tigers, but they are Wildcats.
    Pillow Fight: Eastern Michigan – Because everyone else seems to be going for the home team.
    Tie Breaker: North Carolina 24 – 7 (Following Chas’s “reasonable score” theory.)

  6. I see the logos failed again. Maybe I should type the team names in the team colors? Include the mascot names? Do something to help those who prefer aesthetic means of choosing?

  13. 66-31. That was the score in the tie breaker. So much for a “reasonable” result. BTW- North Carolina won it. IBNO came the closest in that one and is tied with kbells for the lead at 5 after 6 games. 4 night games to go.

  16. Second time in a row, the Gamecocks almost did it but came up short.
    We were talking about unrealistic scores some time ago.
