We are back at ER since husband’urine has gone from brown to pink. Our saga continues. Please pray we can get all these competing issues resolves with the right meds, procedures, etc. Thank you. My husband and I remain in good spirits, at least most of the time except when pharmacy difficulties drive us a bit crazy. 🙂 😦 🙂
Janice, I may have missed some information in my days away from the blog, but your husband’s problems sound like prostatitis. My father has had such problems in the past, and a natural remedy called saw palmetto extract really helped. In fact, he has not had a flare up in many years. Pumpkins seeds and almonds are also good for the prostate.
Lee had been taking it for quite a while, but we stopped it sometime in the last few months because I thought I read there could be a side effect concerning the heart. (Remember, Lee is supposed to see a cardiologist, but hasn’t had time to do so yet, so we were being cautious.)
But looking at it again, I didn’t see what I thought I saw last time I looked.
Now I’m wondering if it was taking him off Saw Palmetto that led to the blood in the urine. Guess it’s time to put him back on it.
Okay, I am feeling the need to go outside this one square mile centre. Please pray that I will find someone willing to go and take me along. There have to be men along as it is not safe for women to go alone. It is school break and this would be my only chance before December. This is so minor compared to other prayers, but it will mean a lot to me.
My sister, Jo, is in need of several people to accompany her outside the compound for an outing. Please make a way for her to have this needed refreshment and change of place. Thank You for a good day for laundry. You are so good, Abba, to provide for the needs of widows and orphans, for the singles, and for the ones who are lacking help through no fault of their own. I trust that if possible and for the benefit of Jo that You will provide for this need in Your special way. If it is not safe, I pray You will give Jo contentment without the outing. You always know best. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen
Jo, in one of the books I read, I think it was Infidel, the woman, who lived in Somalia, a Muslim country, said that her mother always said to her, “A woman out without a man is like a piece of meat in the sun”.
Request for prayer for young man at Covenant, son’s former college. I just got this alert:”Greetings to everyone, the Covenant prayer newsletter will be under new management next month as our two students graduated in May. I did want to ask that you pray for Matthew G. who is a freshman at Covenant this year. He was involved in a rock climbing accident this afternoon and is hospitalized with multiple broken bones but is in stable condition. Please pray for his recovery and his family throughout the process.”
I can not imagine the anguish of the parents or the pain from such an accident. My son climbed in that area for years with the Scouts.
Cheryl’s appt. with the physical therapist went well yesterday. She has PT 3x a week now until further notice.
Thanks for praying. 🙂

What a sad saying, Chas. Needful, no doubt, but sad.
