Peter’s Pack of Pickled Pigskin Picks “15- Week 3

Here they are. Ten games. Twenty teams. One winner of all the blog glory (I know, a little exaggerated there). Four games have Top 25 teams going at each other. Two others feature Top 25 teams playing unranked opponent. But I gotta please the audience. Chas likes South Carolina, so they are here again, even though they have a tough contest on the road against #7 Georgia. IBNO chose the tie breaker, which has #9 Florida State traveling to Yankee land: Boston College. Have at it, folks. Let’s see if we can do better than last week, in which we averaged 5.6 correct, after the previous week of 7.3 (8, if we leave one score of 0 out). But then, the first week had a lot of “gimmie” games.

  13. Sorry, Tychicus. It didn’t look like the Big 12 had any Top 25 games worth mentioning. I suppose the Texas Tech vs Arkansas or Texas vs California games would have been possibilities. I’ll put a couple of Big 12 games up next week. (Notice Arizona isn’t in this one either. They play an easy opponent this week, so I left them off.)

  23. Tomorrow’s halftime schedule: Merle Haggard sings at Oklahoma/Tulsa. Alabama/Old Miss have a tribute to Robert E. Lee. Bernie Sanders and Black Lives Matter share a microphone at Texas/Cal. The new lineup of 2016 Porsches is revealed at SMU/TCU.

  24. That was a low scoring game! Florida State wins 14-0. So, Chas’ low scoring guess of 21-14 wins the tie breaker. Now, let’s see if he wins more of the other games than the rest of us. Right now, Boise Sate is pounding Idaho State, so he’s got that one, along with all but kbells, who picked ISU. We’ll see what tomorrow holds.
