Prayer Requests 9-11-15

It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.

Anyone else have something?

Psalm 101

¹I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing.

I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.

Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the Lord.

  1. This weekend the town where we have our church plant is having a cultural festival, and we’ve received permission to be part of it. Tomorrow we’ll be offering English conversation and doing other activities in the local park, and on Sunday we will have an open-air service in that same park. Please pray for good engagement with the Czechs, leading to possible friendships and opportunities to share the Gospel. Dekuji.

  2. Forrest had to be dragged into the school this morning by the principal & someone else. My heart is breaking for this little boy who still needs more time with his mommy. I know that in time he will adjust, but why should he have to? Why do we push little children to be independent before they are ready?

This would be so much better if it were only half-day kindergarten.

After crying & praying about Forrest, my heart was broken for all the little ones in this world who are separated from their parents due to war, or being kidnapped by ISIS or other groups or individuals, or who have parents who are neglectful or abusive. I pray for God to save them, heal them, comfort them, & make them “His generation”. (God knows what I mean by that.)
